is it me or is the ps 3 and 360 are the same

i know my punctuation and english is bad but damn.. four mouths. your right though rightnow ps3 has some games to play.. problem is 360 has more and the games on ps3 seems to come out at a later date.

also, most of the games release almost simultaniously looks a bit better on 360 than ps3 including some of the 360 version having online while the ps3 doesnt.

thats what i see bad with ps3 rightnow and the fact that it cost a lot and the only games worth mentioning exclusive to it are metal gear and ff13 only.

 Buy PS 3 and play same PGR 3, GeOW, Crackdown, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Forza 2, Halo 3, Allan Wake, Fable 2, Blue Dragon, Lost Odissey and the rest of all this multiplats games

2:ps3 doesn't have any game that would make it worth buying.

3:360 has lots of games worth playing and lots of very good games comming.

I was at my friends before and he has a PS3 we played Resistance (Poorest ending to a game ever. the last level was really poor. Online play was mediocore)  and Demos for Motorstorm(Sixaxis was way too hard.0, F1, Gran Turismo and ridge Racer (Lol so many racing games.) + Blast factor(Complete rip off of Geometry wars!) and Lemmings (The Irony)

We also went on somethingt that displayed lights around the world what are they anyway people playing PS3s online???

in four mouths it seems to me we cought up to 360 in games i mean all the games you guys had sre on the ps 3. except for gears, pgr2, dead rising, lost planet, tmnt, and the fairy game that turns in to stuff. im i missing anything. don't say recon because we will have recon2 too. we got the best game you guys have oblivion which is my favorat ps 3 game too loving it. but the fact is stop saying we don't have no good games. vagas comes out next mouth or this mouth forgot. they starting to balancing out fairly quiet. were getting lair soon heavily sword ect. and you guys are getting mass effect ect. there both a winner in my book.GARRYTH

yea but for that $200 you get online and a console thats quieter and wont break down at a drop of a hat, i mean of corse you can argue that its still not worth but UK thinks it is, it broke record sales, so it must have some draw apeal (now i shall sit and wait for an imature responce)-Holtz-

Oh please. My sound system is not even up loud and I can tell you, I wouldnt be able to hear a train come through the neighborhood. The fan is loud, but my sound system is louder.  If thats your justification for spending an additional $200 to make it quieter..... :lol:

Fact is people have problems with both consoles, 360 has just sold more and in the end more product=more chance of break down. He states it breaks at the drop of a hat, that would man that more then 25% of the machines hav broken, that is not the case(do not say it is unless you can find hardcore proof, not that survey of 20 people). Also, it broke sales records because it had a better supply, nintendo and microsoft could not do that because they did not have enough on the shelf at the launch because both did a true world launch, not doing it a couple months later and calling it a world launch.

second the CPU.no doubt cell is a masterpiece but not that good for gaming

but its good for the doctors and military to use.

all the mumbers that sony gave us are produced by

using all 8 spe's but in game you will have only 6 running.

well to say the truth you will have 5 because 1 spe is used for the sound

so cell is limited to 5 spe's and that mean 5 threads per clock.

In addition xenon is able of doing 6 threads per clock and faster.a guy posted that in rfom

when you kill someone the body doesnt disappear even if you leave the battle ground and

then retern.thats because of the high retending or something like that. thats impressive

but thats the only thing that cell is good.and i mean having lots of things running at the same time and not

The Cell processor is all well and good but that doesn't change the fact that MS development tools and the DirectX architecture are attracting more programmers and development.  Learn those tools and you can make Xbox360 games AND PC games. This is much of the reason the Xbox360 is so well supported this generation. It's less risky putting your money into teams that know DirectX platform. The PS3 I believe will be far more ported to than the PS2 was in the last generation. Why? Because the Xbox360 has significant lead in install numbers, more developers from the consistent Xbox/PC DirectX platform, and few games are now PS3 exclusive.  I expect to see some key companies specializing in PS3 development but I don't see many publishers building their own PS3 development teams. Better to focus on the popular platforms (Xbox360/PC) and then outsource to PS3 specialized developers to port over the code. There is an upside to this... because these companies will specialize in optimizing for the PS3 the game quality could improve over time.  Otherwise the lack of PS3 developers in the industry, particularly compared to the PC/Xbox360 developer community will really stall the platform. In other words, game quality will suffer on PS3 because they just don't have the talent base right now that really knows the architecture. That will never change as long as the PC and Xbox360 continue to be a bigger market than the PS3.
