maybe or maybe not but 1 thing is certain wii's sales will be dropped by quite alot by 2009. its already selling alot but it will soon burnout. let me relate it to something ummm...
motorstorm(had to lol) the guy who boosts all the way(wii) will gain a massive advantage and will soon blow up( have less sales). and instead a guy who doesnt use the boost ( ps3 or 360) will gain the advantage topping the sales by 2009
personally i think both sony and MS is scared. alfy13
You do realise that the xbox and the whole MS game devision is a bit of fun for microsoft. The oney earners are office and windows.....
They're not scared of the Wii, they're scared of their own failure in the console market.looks like MS is scared of loosing that 1 year head start lead over the next gen consoles wii. that wii might just end up taking the crown from MS this year. what do you guys think?

Sony should just back out while they can. The PS3 sucks hard. I own a Wii, and I have to say, I really enjoy it, yeah so it cant put out graphics like the other two can, but in a recent research finding, the graphic capabilities are pretty close to what the 360 can put out, if only publishers would spend some effort in the games. The Wii rocks, 360 ok, PS3 sucks, end of storyLordLanzPlay the system before you bash it. You didn't bring up evidence to back your claim.

Wishful thinking at best. You and I both know that the console wars don't work like that. Usually, one console gains an advantage, and developers follow it, creating a snowball effect. The further along it rolls, the more unstoppable it becomes.
[QUOTE="Ehlohim"]I dunno about being scared, but the facts are that the 360 has been out for roughly a year and a half and has sold a little short of 11 million. The Wii has been out just over 6 months and has sold about 7.5 mil.

Seriously you guys need some new ammo besides sales.Â
Nintendo is their biggest competition.VGobbsesser
No there not,the 360 isn't just about games,it's about movies,music,t.v. shows and a media extender for pc's,and so is the ps3 so that automatically makes them the direct competition.
Microsoft isn't scared of Nintendo because it's not in direct competition with Microsoft, from a hardware point of view and micro-transaction point of view.

It might, but I wouldn't be too worried if I was MS. Most Wii owners own a 360 anyway for the graphics.
