For one im worried that my launch 360 could brake down and then my mass effect character which i want to carry on to me3 that iv played with from me1 will die with my xbox. im also a huge mass effect fan and havent played the dlc. none of it on the 360 so i would be getting new unseen content.

has any one done this and then regretted it?

You cant play Mass Effect 1 on PS3, so that is not an option imo, to play the trilogy must stick to 360

Well given your situation, I'd say go for it. Your character won't be the same as your character on the 360 but you could try to get him or her close enough. Though after the 1.01 patch, framerate has been dropping like crazy. >.>

or PC.

Stay on the PC or 360, that way to get the entire trilogy, and other than a couple weapons and armour, you can get all teh DLC on the 360 too. And as long as your hrad drive doesn't break, you won't lose your save.

1.why would your character die? you simply put your hard drive ontoa newer 360 or get it repaired and put it on there..
2.the only way to get the full experience is by playing the 360 or pc version. the 360 version has been shown to be superior to the ps3 version anyways with the pc version being the best.
3.I'm still confused as to why you would think you'd lose your character when its saved to your hard drive...and you can start saving it to a usb stick and there is no problem...

P.S: you can get the first game and 2nd game and some dlc for the same price as just the ps3 version of ps2.

ur the biggest 360 fan boy on sw. i want nuetral opinions. 360 version shown to be superior ? and what is this based on? ign came out to say the better version of mass effect 2 is on ps3 . also isnt there an error on th old xboxs that corrupts the hard driverawrB

If you WANT to play the PS3 version, just say it man. :? Looks like the real purpose of this thread was to bash the 360.

The best version is in the platforms where you can play the whole trilogy.

whats your point? Im the biggest fanboy on system wars? Have I ever denied this? you never asked for neutral opinions and to believe such opinions exist isn't really worth any time...Neutral Opinion? thats a contridiction.

IGN came out to say something that they didn't back up and it was found out they had spent no time with the game they actually admitted to saying they based their statements solely on bioware statements of it being superior NOT on their own experience of playing the ps3 version of the game. Lense of truth, digital foundry, and other sites did their own comparisons and it was found that the ps3 version preformed worse and had affects missing even on the full version of the game. Seems to me like your here to bash the 360. oh my 360s gonna fail ill lose my save oh theirs a currupting hard drive thingy. Remove the hard drive put it on another 360, save your saves to a memory stick...simple matter no problem yet you keep presisting.

To be fair, if TC really wanted an unbiased opinion, he wouldn't have posted this in System Wars.

get PC version for cheap. They are like, 20 bucks new (you can get ME1 for 10 bucks if you are lucky. or Steam is cheaper too). The requirements are very low too, my 8800GT runs in very well without no slowdowns whatsoever.
