IS MGS4 also going to go to 360???

I know this is probably the 1000 post you have read about MGS, and 360 put in the same conversation. But I read what that Kojima rep said, and to me it kinda sounded like it was.

"I can tell you honestly at this point, we have not changed the game in any form with the idea of 'oh, we got to do this on 360,'" Payton states. "Put aside whether or not we're developing for 360 or not, the game is built on the PS3 hardware, as you guys have known for the past two years or so."

I thought it would be more simple to say "No, There is no MGS4 coming out for 360", something along them lines. Sounds like the 360 might get a port to me.

(No, I dont have a ps3, or 360 ... Im just asking)

All signs at the moment are saying that it's not going to the 360.

It's not totally out of the question yet, but my guess is that if they're going to port it to the 360, it won't be for a year or even two after the PS3 release.

I would wait, be one less reason needing to get a PS3 in the future.

I wouldn't. If by some chance they were to make a port for the 360, it probably wouldn't be out for years after the original's release. Not a safe bet for those who are avid fans of the MGS series.

I predicted that DMC4 would come to 360 months in advance of the announcement. I made a big thread about it, and all the cows were telling me I was wrong.

Like I said, I shall wait, as tough as that sounds, if I can play it "eventually" I will be happy. I may not be the first of the bunch to witness it, but I won't allow not witnessing it all. But either case by that amount of time, two options will be out thre, PS3 will be at a price for which to buy or port. I know its not a safe bet for avid fan, but if I cant play it, I am happy.

I'm thinking more like less cutscenes. He says the "cinematic nature" of the game makes it better suited to ps3 and blu ray.

3) I based the prediction off of my logical assessment of the evidence. Veteran industry journalist James Mielke wrote a tip in his blog that a major PS3 exclusive was coming to 360. I considered a set of different games including KH, FFXIII, and MGS4, and by narrowing down the evidence based on past company behavior, I inducted that the game would be DMC4.

I have also been following MGS4 development closely, and there is no evidence that they are working on anything other than the PS3 version. In fact, in my assessment, there is strong counter-evidence to the claim that MGS4 will ever be made for 360.

But when it comes down to it...Konami has the last say in it.

My guess is they will do the typical substance thing...and make that multiplat. Therefore Kojima did not lie(Substance version is a different game), PS3 fans had thier exculsive, and Konami can double dip on PS3 and expand on 360. And too be honest....Everyone is happy then. To sum it up...MGS4 is exculsive but MGS4Sub is not.
