Is Microsoft saving 2009 for E3?

So M$ exclusive lineup for 09 doesn't seem that great but a lot of lems are saying "wait for E3", but what can be expected for E3?

E3 has seem a lot of big game announcements, but when was the last time a big game was revealed at E3 and released the same year? Most E3 games don't see the release until the year after, if not later.

So why are lems convinced that E3 will save their 2009?

I'd be very puzzled if they dont announce something lol. I'll be very disappointed if they sit back and think they've done enough this gen. I really like Sony's attitude of fighting back lately and I bash Sony a lot!

No doubt they'll announce something, all three probably will, but I don't think that any big game announce there will release this year.

Well duh. Only the biggest fanboy thinks Microsoft wont have any games this year. Year after year Microsoft has a massive E3 that blows the other two out the water and theres very little reason to think this year will be any different.

It's just funny this is the third year on the trot this has happened and fanboys still try to brag about the 360 having no games. They don't ever seem to learn.

I'm guessing they'll announce something BIG . But I doubt it will be for 2009.IronBass

Last year M$ E3 was FFXIII going multiplat. That was it. I don't even remember if they announced any new games them. M$ might have "won" E3 but how did that helped them in 2008.

I'm talking about M$ announcing big exclusives that will release this year.

Can't see many things for 2009, gamewise anyway. Probably DLC announcements or exclusivity deals. Imagine they had a timed exclusivity deal on MW2 :shock:

We literally get one of these threads every day now. We'll see big announcements (Gears of War 3, Killer Instinct 3, Duke Nukem Forever 360 exclusive, etc) but they will all be for next year.Floppy_Jim
