Is No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle a major factor in hardcore Wii gaming?

im hypin 9. the first one was great. im expecting a better one this time and hoping some issues in the last game get fixed..

I didn't like NMH. I mean it's too obnoxious, too satirical, awkward and it's neither impressive artistically nor graphically. Also the VA was pretty horrible, definitely not for my taste.

No More Heroes was a terrible game. The presentation and style were good, but as an actual game it was absolute trash. Put it this way, if it had been a standard ninja action game it would have been getting 5/10 reviews, it was honestly that bad. Nerdy reviewers got carried away with the 'cool' factor and forgot to notice the actual gameplay. easily the most over-rated game this gen.Elutheria

The No more heroes series is garbage because of 2 reasons.

1. The main charactar has possibly the lamest/stupidest name every concieved, Travis Touchdown

2. It's on the wii

This game is like MadWorld=same **** till the end of the game and why does the graphics looks so bad? its almost GTA 3 level

It looks better than the first, and the first got a 9.0 so...I'd assume it will either get the same score or higher

I don't understand your question; what is your definition of 'hardcore'? lots of violence? sex? Enjoyable to only a few as opposed to many? (Niche basically)

I enjoyed NMH because of the quirky characters, the battle system, and the dialogue. It was a good game. Any further labels are worthless. There are no such things as casual and hardcore, don't bring NMH down to that level of thinking. There is a 'good game' or a 'bad game.' Thats it. And even in that simplified version, 'fun' is still debatable.

Anything less than AAA hype would be an admission by sheep that the first didn't deserve it's 9.0 rating at Gamespot.

Assuming they fix some of the flaws the first obviously had like

• The bear bones city
• The repetitiveness
• Other than character models, graphics weren't all that great
• Getting money for the next fight was boring as hell (they're fun the first time but when i have to collect coconuts every time it's gonna get annoying..)

• They are fixing all that the city is smaller and it would have other cars and people on the road.
• They are giving 2 other playable characters that play different then Travis Shinobu and Henry.
• They said it would still have the stupid challenges but it would require less money to enter the Assassin's rank matches.
• The graphics look better and they changed the artstyle to match a more serious tone then the first one since Travis isn't just entering the UAA to get with Sylvia he is doing to for Revenge.

I'm not sure why MNH of all games is a factor of whatever the hell hardcore gaming is on the wii but I hope that it turns out well.

I couldn't play this passed the first level when I rented it. Terrible.

I'm hyping 8.5 - 9.0.

It'll be difficult for the game to score higher than the last game, unless Suda pulls off something great. Which is possible :P
