Is one of this gen's 10's your greatest game ever?

This generation Gamespot awarded perfect 10's to Metal Gear Solid 4, Grand Theft Auto 4, and Super Mario Galaxy 2. In your opinion, is one of these titles the best game ever made? Or even the best game this gen? I guess what I'm trying to get at is just because a game gets a 10 doesn't mean they're better than other games.

No, but GTA IV is certainly up there.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is certainly in my Top 5.

My favorite game of all time is probably Super Mario 64, and that didn't get a 10.

Of course, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Grand Theft Auto IV are up there in my top 10 of all time, so is Ocarina of Time.

So far for me it's SMG2 so yes this gen and in my top 10 overall.

I haven't played any of those games. Wow, probably should.

No, but GTA IV and MGS4 are definitely pretty high on my list. I think it's a shame SMG2 got a 10 and not the original. Both are great games, but the first one was just so much more impactful and inventive. SMG2 played it too safe to deserve a 10, but that's another topic, I suppose.

I would put Super Mario Galaxy 2 in my top 10. I doubt it would be my favorite game though since that's Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

I think no game should get a 10 this gen since each one has flaws.

MGS4 & GTA4 are up there. SMG2, nah.

Nope. I put far more time into "GTA:SA" last gen than I put in for "GTA IV". In fact, I'd wager that I've played more San Andreas this gen than GTA V. I've played through SA probably 6 or 7 times, only once for IV.

I also never finished MGS IV. I don't mind cut scenes, but it was just excessive and really killed the game's pacing.

I put down SMG because of the Wiimote, so I never even bothered with SMGII.

Nope. Not even close. Mario Galaxy 2 is a great game though. GTA has never appealed to me and Metal Gear is the most over-rated P.O.S. in games. (Aside from Metal Gear Sloin on the PS one. That one was pretty good.

I'm glad to see Blazblue and Kirby having good sales :)

Nop, as much as i love Super Mario Galaxy 2 it didn't have the same impact on me like the first one, i definitely put Super Mario Galaxy among my favorite games of all time, and while SMG2 is a superb game is not really that high on my list (probably top 20 but no top 10).

Those aren't even a blip on my radar, except SMG2, which i loved playing, and is probably in my top 20.

GTAIV is one of my favorites, probably in my top ten but the others dont even come close. I dont think any of those games deserved more than a 9 TBH especially MGS4.
