Is orginal x-box graphics too much to ask for for wii

I agree. They are few and far between. i think its a case of rushing stuff out to sell.

Also, few companies took the Wii seriously before launch, and now we probably have a bunch of developers hacking away at it. PS2 ports don't help either.

It's a port of a last gen game and Chronicles of Riddick and Doom 3 look better than it and they're both on Xbox. I think devs need to put more effort into the games, a lot more. I'm fine with it if the game is something new and original that works well and doesn't need graphics to add to the experience. But things like CoD5 should be looking much better than they are.

Believe it or not, Red Steel is better than most (in some boards) that I've seen and that's sad and unnecessary.

This statement is irrelevant to this post also....maybe you should stop trying to run your post count up.

In theory they should all look about one step up above Xbox1 games, but unfortunately, few developers have bothered to go to the effort.

The GameCube was able to compete with the original Xbox graphically, so the Wii should definitely be able to go beyond the original Xbox.

There are a few games that do look better, like Galaxy, Conduit, or Prime, but I'll admit that the overall Wii catalogue is lacking, visually speaking.

all first party, and Galaxy is the only one that matches xbox graphics. Third party devs seem to just rush out games and don't take the wii seriously.

galaxy is a first-party exception really and even then it only looks about AS good as an xbox game, IMO alot of third party wii games struggle to amke it to the graphics fidelity of Halo:CE and that was a launch title!

no i never said that, i said THIRD PARTY. ninty made the system, the devs are too busy making mini-game collections to get anything out of it. i was just giving examples of les powerfull and much older systems having much more brought oout of them.
