Is PC gaming really dying

too expensive I rather spend $500 and just go out with a girl I'll get in the future

Seriously, we need to seperate a slump in  general  PC sales, and a slump in gaming-capable  PC sales. Not even touching home-builts, or gaming laptops.

If you want to lump them, TC, then the PC market is a billion dollar industry. As in, probably hundreds of billions.

They most certainly do not, especially to these tracking/analyst companies. That being said, the IDC already has a pretty terribad track record, for their projection of this console generation.

Keeping up with the industry, implies updating every few months. An intangible feat. Yes, most PC gamers likely don't have top-end machines, but that doesn't dictate that  all  don't have top-end machines. It's well known that FIFA is played by a  multitude  of gamers, but this doesn't dictate that the sampling is anywhere near accurate for the PC market. Furthermore, it's hardly an argument against Hermits on this board, as many have proven their systems over-and-over.
