Is Person 4 Dancing All Night Vita's swan song?

Despite the bad review on GS, the game has gotten pretty good reviews in general with a 79 MC after 29 reviews. I've played the game recently, and although I just started it, I admire the quality and I also love its connection to the Persona 4 universe. It got me thinking, this is what we could have had with the Vita. I truly hope there are some more quality titles coming to the Vita before its completely dead. If anything, now is the time for developers to take some chances and bring more titles. The Vita fan base is still pretty respectable and willing to pay for them. What do you think, SW? Will we see more for the Vita?

If it is, it's certainly a good one. Here hoping for a Persona 4-II sequel. (10 years time skip starring our favorite detective prince... preferably.)

I don't understand how people like Dancing All Night. It's got great rhythm mechanics, but everything else is so lacking...

I'd rather Persona 3 Silver (creative naming) be it's swan song.

Are the Persona 4 spinoffs worth playing?

Persona 4 is a crazy good game. It's one of those things you think looks really stupid at first, but it's oddly compelling and suddenly you've dumped 100 hours into it and don't know how to stop.

I'm surprised, since Sony announced they aren't making games for it anymore.

I'd like to play P4 Golden, I heard that's good, but this game? Probably not.

Despite the average review it got, I personally enjoyed the game.

Never really expected anything from the story which I actually skipped with the triangle button all the way. What's lacking though is...

Light the Fire up in the Night

It's not just the story, having just 25 songs in a rhythm game, of which at least eight are repeats, is criminal, especially considering the richness of the source material.

That is an issue but it doesn't bother me much for some reason. A sequel will probably significantly increase in tracks like most rhythm series. (really hoping for a P3 DAN)

There are plenty of japanese games still coming out for Vita, so no. DAN is not it's swan song, for people wanting western full retail titles it's swansong was likely Tearaway.

It really bothered me. There's a puacity of content, and so many good songs were missing. No I'll Face Myself, no Light The Fire Up In The Night, no Void Quest, no Corner of Memories, and songs like Never More, Next Chance To Move On, True Story, and Break Out Of... are relegated to being DLC? What?

A rhythm game that skimps on the quality and quantity of its soundtrack is a failure on a fundamental level.

@charizard1605_ Is the heaven song in there at least? I always liked that one. I still want to get the game but I'm not into rhythm games enough to pay 50 bucks for it.

Yikes, I forgot about most of the song you listed! The absents of I'll Face myself, Corner of Memories and LtFUitN is rather ridiculous. I better re-assess my final thoughts on this game now... ****.

@Legend002: Yeah, it's definitely an issue. A Persona rhythm game without I'll Face Myself is no Persona rhythm game.

The game was such a disappointment in, well, honestly everything: story, voice acting, gameplay, and soundtrack. The only thing this game actually managed to do well was presentation.

Tip: Don't buy the game for anything over $30
