Is Playstation worth buying?

The only reason I ask is I don't want to go spend $500.00 and sony pulls a dreamcast on my arse. Are they going to keep at it or die. Honestly after seeing Killzone 2 it makes me think that PS3 has longer legs than the Xbox graphically. Has there been any word on them quitting because if you google it most articles are from 2006. anything new

I think theres value in a $200 Arcade, since it can play 90%+ of PS3s library (multiplats) at half the price.

50-60% of them can't be played without that 100 dollar add-on called a HDD;)

MLB 09 PS2 doesn't count, it wasen't rated by GS
MLB 09 PS3 is exclusive

so that's 2 AAAE and more comming up
hope the 6 hour halo expansion not made by bungie + 2 halo 3 maps will be worth your 1 year wait :lol:

What does the NPD have to do with the quality of the ps3 and it's games? Go look up the urban dictionary for "damage control" and you'll be very surprised on who is closer to it out of you two;)

it is exclusive cause PS2 version was not rated, jsut like GTA IV - lost and damned didn't count cause it wasen't rated
MLB 08/09 is PS3 exclusive.
