Portal 2 still gets a GOTY nod from me. Portal 2 is a perfect game. I honestly cannot think of anything that is wrong with the game.

So far, yes it is. I LOVE BF3, but Portal 2 deserves it more. Let me finish (just started a couple hours ago) Uncharted 3 though first, then I will get back to you. SKyward Sword is the game I am anticipating will take it though.
Portal 2 is a good game but not GOTY material Deus Ex already Won GOTYSNIPER4321
I'd definitely swap those around. Which I guess answers this thread.
Maybe Skyward Sword will change my mind though (we can only hope!)
It was the last straw I had with Valve.
My least favorite game this year, the writing was excellent though, but the actual gameplay was a bore. At least that was my experiencec with the Co-Op (I did not even want to touch the SP after the horrid experience I had there).

The singleplayer is much better than the co-op.
Like, they're not even comparable - co-op is basically just a bunch of puzzle rooms strung together with a loose plot. It's kind of fun to solve with friends, but it's missing all of the charm, excitement and epic moments that make the actual game so great.
It's my personal GOTYso far. Well that or Pkmn B/W. But it doesn't matter because Zelda releases this year.
The ending in P2 is my favorite ending in a video game ever I think.

Oh, I see. I might give the SP a chance then. Maybe it was just the MP that was a sleeping pill. Good thing I have a steam backup. Well, I know what I will be doing now.
probably, GS has awful taste when it comes to games so it wouldn't shock memems_1224
They have awful taste because they disagree with you?
no because they're a terrible site at covering games No you wrong, their choice in Demons Souls was spot on and well deserved. Your just stating your opinion[QUOTE="Master_ShakeXXX"]

You make a fantastic argument.

Once again a great argument. I agree with some reviews and disagree with some. Overall, gamespot for me has been reliable and thats why I continue to be on this website. Ign has had many more problems with unfair reviews and changing what they've stated in reviews. This might make the less credible if you ask me, but I still like IGN, just not as much as gamespot. Please Log In to post.
