Is PS3 in dead last place because it doesnt have any AAA exclusives?

Do poor sales have anything to do with the lack of qulaity exclusives?

Some SW users seem to be mixing up GS with the real world. In the real world, there are other review sites. Most of those Review sites have scored atleast 1 PS3 game a AAAE status, GS has not. So in the real world we live in, it has quit a Few AAAE titles, but in GS land there is not, but of course GS land dosent count for much.

It's really quite simple, there simply isn't a market that would buy the Ps3.

As the 360 came out first, there is no need to buy the more expensive and year late Ps3 for the multiplats and the exclusive library isn't even in the same league as the Wii or X360 and has been the only console this gen, last gen, or the gen before that to not have an AAAE in its first year.

People won't spend hundreds of dollars on something if there is no reason to.

400 bucks is too pricey? i admit its still 50 more than the Pro 360 model, but thats about it. PS3 is quit affordable now.

It wasn't a year ago at release. And yes 400 is a ton with the current US economy for the average Joe who is increasing credit debt on average 11% a month. Probably also why the 360 has stalled out is somewhat high amount to spend when money is tight for folks.

no i say its because of nintendo finally realising , and doing somthing never done before thats what holds sony back ,, they used same stuff from past generations , if their lucky theyll slip up to second,

No because it's still the same freaking thing. I didn't even hear about Gamerankings until I came to this site. Plenty of magazines and sites rank Ps3 exclusives AAA and plenty rank it below.

$400 is still a bit on the hefty said for a console, even with all the good things that come with Ps3. When it's at $300 bucks then it is nearing the sweet spot that the Wii is at.

Completely incorrect. If we want to compare the cheapest standard version of either console, their official sites (www.playstation.com and www.xbox.com) give the following prices:

PS3 40GB: $399
Xbox 360: $349

So suddenly $50 is far more expensive? Not to mention the Xbox 360 doesn't support HDMI - lacks web browser, OS installation, Blu-Ray playback, free online gaming, free wireless adapter, third-party accessory support and shall I mention the fact that its exclusives don't get ported to PC a few months later.

As I said before, it has a web browser with full Flash Player support and RSS feeds, OS installation allowing Linux and Windows, Blu-Ray games and movies, free online gaming support for every game, free wireless adapter unlike the 360's $99.99 ripoff, third-party support for accessories, replaceable HDD of any size, functionality with the PSP, Sixaxis controller, and much more.

Sales aren't poor at all for the PS3. They are actually very good. It's the new technology that has been taking developers longer to create great experiences.

In SW the PS3 is last place because of no GS AAA exclusive.
