Sorry man, but I create a thread about once a week, and I try to make it originial.
I personally don't think its needed, but the option is nice. It all depends in the developers vision.
Well, rumble + motion = a whole new gaming experience. What more can be done to amp up the interactivity of video games? Well, we're waiting for your ideas, guys.mc2k4
I agree its great, but only if the developers use it in the right way.
Certain games just feel better with rumble, so yes, it's needed. OXIIIIXOI agree, games like the MGS series need rumble, theirs nothing like suspicious guards in the same room as you while your hiding in a locker feeling the rumble pound away like a heartbeat.

I wouldn't call it last gen or next gen for that matter, I call rumble worthless. For me it was nothing more than an annoyance, the first thing I did in every game was turn rumble off with the exception of Prince of Persia where it actually proved to have a use. addictedtochaosWell what about the million of other players that are going to miss rumble? It's nice having rumble because if you don't like it you can just turn it off instead of having no rumble at all.
Now that Sony has patched up things, and is potentially bringing Rumble back to its over loyal fans, I have a feeling there will be alot of converters. It is no longer last gen?immortality20
Rumble isn't last gen (it came out the generation before last actually) and if it was how come both Microsoft and Nintendo both use it in their current systems. The only reason people say it's last gen is because Sony decided to have a tilt axis controller and then couldn't work out how to put rumble in again. If they can fix it's then good. There's so many games that use rumble in a good way, MGS for example and if you remove that the game will not be as good fun to play.
Also you said that you have a feeling that their would be a lot of converters because of Sony putting in rumble. I'm not sure about that. Converters if they drop the price yes.

psssssssst He was talking about how the SONY rep. guy Phil said that rumble was "last gen." and that "motion sensingis this gen.". And is rumble needed, no. It isn't a necessity, but **** would it lose a lot of immersion and gameplay mechanics. Please Log In to post.
