Is Sony set on Conquering Nintendo territory?

So, what with Allstars about to dethrone SSB as "the" primo mash fighter, and Modnation Racers having stolen the crown from Mario Kart, with LBP Karting about to do it again, what could Sony have it's sites set on next? I've never spoken highly of the Move. I'm not a fan of motion controls and this wasn't an area of Nintendo I wanted to see them move into. But what else could be a possibility?

you know, even though the Modnation Racer and LBP Karting are basically a rip-off of Mario Kart they still don't look as fun. And it not that they look bad is just that they don't pack the nostalgia... A Kart Racing game ala Sony All-Star would be sooooooooooooo much better! That's why I believe that the Sony All-Star has a huge chance at selling tons of copies compared to those other attemps at copying Nintendo. The game has everything fromPaRappa the Rapper to Nathan Drake.

They'll try to but thats the best they'll be able to do in the end.. Sony fail to realize their games don't have same appeal to them as Nintendo games do. Sony don't exactly stick by their franchises for decades on end like Nintendo do to make them popular. Plus they don't really have anything that can compete with Mario, Zelda, Metroid on the same level. Quality wise. Nintendo are laughing at them right now.

Resistance plays it closer to the old school FPS like Half-Life while Killzone goes for a more serious approach of Nazis in space and a little bit of politics. The games are nothing like Power Rangers Halo but they did tried to be Halo killers which is different though. When was the last time Halo had a weapon wheel selection or a health bar? Halo doesn't even has horror elements like Resistance.

If Nintendo had an online system in place for Wii U that was like Xbox Live they could win the next gen easily..why? Because the PS4 and Nextbox won't be vastly superior to it graphically and Nintendo has the best most appealing 1st party titles. I can't wait until people realize how tiny the differences are and how almost all next gen games will be in 720p.

Anyways back on topic. Sony failed taking over the Big N's territory with the PSP....they failed with the Move....they failed with their terrbile racers and they are failing with the vita....this game will have no affect on the next Smash Bro's...none.

Sony, as much as they try to copy Nintendo all the time, simply can't do it as well as Ninty. They're better suited to fight companies like Micro$oft.

The ModNation Racers franchise is doing worse then the Mario Kart franchise in terms of reviews.The only franchise that now has the chance to dethrone the Mario Kart franchise is the Sonic and Sega or Sonic all star racing franchise.Smash bros will obliterate that fighting game in terms of reviews.

thats not answering my question so since ssb did it then obviously all stars is doing it too since using old characters is "scraping the barrel"

Both M$ and Sony are going after Nintendo franchises.
They suck at it, Nintendo still has to spread further and claim more genres.

syphon filter u may have a case. But even then.. every forgettable sony game there is a nintendo game just as forgetable (lol ice climbers / game & watch)
