is the 360 the primary SKU developed for?

might have not worded it right, but whatever, lol, not flaming the ps3,but it just intrigues me,as these 2 consoles are "supposedly" equal in power.

im talkin multiplats, fallout 3 has framerate issues,RE5-has minor framerate dips,ETC

games seem to be ported from the 360 to PS3,at least in my opinion

why is this? is it because the 360 came out first?or is it easier to develop for or something?

RE5 on PS3 wasn't a port. I think maybe 360 is the main choice, and gets more time, because it would probably sell a bit more on the 360 and developers can make their ideal game on it with ease, then try to imitate it on PS3.

When a game is created on a PC, it is easier to port to the 360 due to the similar architecture. The PS3 uses a completely different architecture so porting becomes more difficult. However when built around the PS3 architecture we see results similar to PS3 exclusives.

Becuase PS3 has a radical design beyond anything developers are used to. Its better off for them to learn how to make it work on PS3 first, then port it to a console they know how to develop for - X360.

kind of like final fantasy 13 being ported from ps3 to 360? even though some thought it was impossible?

I'd rather them try to push the game on the pc and 360 then port it when its complete to the ps3

The primary platform is the PC. Everything gets ported from there.

It usually results in lesser quality ports. Porting from the PS3 to 360 seems to make up the majority of quality difference.
