Neither, everyone's on PSN. lol jk :PRotaryRX7
Obviously a joke reply but I am a bit curious, what is the PSN community like for COD4?
No "PSN sucks!!!!" type comments please. I am just honestly curious if it is hard to find a game or not. I have not got around to playing COD4 online via PSN.

COD4 on psn has quite a community, it maybe bigger than warhawk
Could I have just logged on at the wrong time, because I usually just play deathmatch, and it was a bit lonely in there. MAMerrificAre you on the latest patch?
Wait..why would someone buy COD4 for the PC then decide "maybe I should buy it for the 360". makes no sense. i think the communities are about the same size.coolmonkeykidwhich says something about the PC community which has a trillion more users than the 17 million gold live users .

Considering the 360's been out for 3 years and the pc for over 30 I should hope so. :roll:PC's community is indeed stronger but the game's multiplayer is garbage anyway IMO.thefsmlolWhile I agree with this (:P), the reason it's stronger is because of admins, mods, and support. There's enough servers with different game styles to keep you entertained, as well as custom maps.
I would say the XBL community, simply for the fact that the majority of Live players have microphones versus the minority on PC games (and there are some who use them solely via teamspeak or ventrilo; these are not people you will be interacting with unless you are in their clan.PapaJohn24I disagree with you. The rare time I played that game, the microphone was only used to wage a non-stop insult wars. Anyway, this game don't really beneficit from microphone, I mean the map are small and the tactic is, well... killing the other guys without much strategy since it's so chaotic.

I agree. PC gaming is dying.
I don't know about you guys, but it's probably a bad idea to troll in a thread created by an admin. :P To the TC, maybe everyone moved to Call Of Duty 5? Although, I have no idea, I didn't get Call of Duty 4.[QUOTE="bladeeagle"][QUOTE="Innocentguy757"]Yea PC gaming sucksDragonfireXZ95

Although, I have no idea, I didn't get Call of Duty 4. agreed with both you points :P i play more CoD 5, there are 3000+ servers vs the ~1000 on 4The 360 version sold more than the PC and PS3 version combined.Pdiddy105and what does that have to do with online gaming?
I don't play CoD4 multiplayer but are all the maps that small??? Seems like very few maps have more than 12 players max.^I just took this screenshot 5 minutes ago^ 19,127 servers that I found. Not all of them are active at the same time, but trust me, there are LOADS of people playing the PC version.JosamaBinEating

Some maps have 60 players as their max.

Not only that but I haven't seen any recording data of the sales of the PC version that have included Digital Distribution of Steam or Direct2Drive. NPD doesn't count either of them.
The 360 version sold more than the PC and PS3 version combined.Pdiddy105Doesn't matter. The PC community will endure the longest while the PS3 and 360 communities all move en masse to the next big thing. It's already happening with COD5 and Gears 2, and it will probably lose a huge chunk of its playerbase when Modern Warfare 2 releases. Meanwhile, even Call of DUTY 1 ON the PC has hundreds of people playing right now, 5 years after the game was released...
Sadly the Community on the PC version is divided between the patchs. So each Patch has a certain amount of people playing. Currently I think the majority are sill playing 1.0 version because some don't update their game.JangoWuzHereWhich is why they need a patch distribution system. Something like Steam or at least something like Ubisoft's auto-patcher that does a check every time you launch the game.
