I think it feels fine on average and for specific games, but it has many problems. I'm pretty it was mainly designed for FPS in mind, but that it my least favorite function for it. The L2 and R2 triggers are terrible, and have a gross squishy throw to them. I want a shorter throw for more precise input. The touchpad is basically useless, so is the lightbar (unless you have VR, and the speaker is barely utilized. But my critique would be the battery. Now I understand there are ways to mitigate the problem, but I'm sick of people excepting a poor product because they've found a way to sidestep the problem. I have 2 so I can swap them out as need, but being able to drain a charge from only watching Netflix for one night is ridiculous. I used to get 3-4 days out my DS3 easily, and that was after the same amount of Netflix and a few hours of gaming a night. If all those features I mentioned earlier are to blame, then it clearly isn't worth the trade-off.
On ergonomics alone it's fine (minus the L2 and R2) but it also has some serious problems.
But I've also gotten a chance to try a SCUF or "pro" controller, so I don't know if they're any better.
