Is the lack of JRPGs effecting this gen?

Yes, all jrpg's this gen have been somewhat mediocre. Many will say that Lost Odyssey was superorgasmicfantastic but....

To be fairly honest said game (which is probably the best jrpg this gen) is decent for a while and then trails off to nowhere while the cast is mostly in the range of forgettable to downright terrible (few exceptions).

Lo had a decent story, everything else was mediocre.

Dear lord, I wish some people knew that opinion =/= facts.

I'd like to see the part of the quote where anything is stated as fact.

I'd really like if people would stop using that opinion =/= fact argument to respond to posts where nothing is being claimed as such (which is 9/10 times FACT).

I'd also wish internet warriors would stop acting like tough cowboys. Especially the **** who use one-liners like "Fail"

So what was your favorite part of the story?

Why no mention of the Wii, especially with a company like Atlus? Any case PS3 has a higher chance to get Atlus games if either 360 or PS3 were to get exclusives. This could help PS3 against the 360 perhaps. History has shown it would have little impact in favor of the 360 in regards to japan.Devil-Itachi

Atlus already has a game being developed for the ps3 so we will see how that works out.

There's no real shortage on the 360, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragom, Eternal SOnata, Infinte Undiscovery, Enchanted Arms, Tales of Vesperia, Last Remnant and Star Ocean 4 on its way.... it's hurting the PS3 but so are a lot of other things.

JRPGs just aren't as popular anymore. Just look at the sales of any JRPG last gen that wasn't FF or Monster Hunter or Kingdom Hearts.

And JRPGs certainly won't save the PS3, especially not in NA or Europe. Only a price cut will (assuming MS doesn't cut price too). The western markets are dominated by western games (FPSs, TPSs, Action/Adventure)

lack of JRPG's you must not have a 360 then. oh well. I don't know what it is like not to have JRPGs. I have enjoyed everyone I played so far.too_much_eslim
