It has Bluray, wifi, replacable hard drive, internet web browser and most importantly a range of quality games that satisfy the PURE hardcore gamer.

All it lacks is Word and Excel, but how need them unless your at work or school.

No the ps3 cannot do everything, start adding the regular functions of a normal pc and the ps3 will slow down to a crawl, and as always NEEDS MOAR RAM! Also pc's can play higher res than 1080 and more content blah blah blah so no ps3 is no where near being a pc

My god man are you actually telling me Ps3 has as many features as PC? Can i burn cd's and dvd's on PS3? Can i hook my mobile on ps3 and save my contacts, images, videos and install app's Can i hook my camera or videocamera and save my images abd videos and edit them? Can i use office on PS3? Can i play pc games on PS3? Can i record tv programs from a tv tuner? Is the internet browser as usable and as fast as firefox? ( considering it only has 256mb of ram alot of flash sites has troubles on PS3 ) Can i edit my photos using Gimp Does it have the range of applications going from customization to utilities to photo editing a pc has? Can i use emulators on PS3? Can i use google earth on PS3? and lots more Yes you are right ps3 is almost there adamosmaki

Why the hell would anybody want a console to be a PC? Isn't the point of a console to technically not be a PC? I've always thought the point of consoles is to get a gaming machine, media device (nowadays anyways) and a online community for a relatively cheaper price then having to go out and buy a gaming rig that most people wont build themselves because they don't know how so it would be expensive for them.

Console being a PC is just dumb, why would a gaming machine be a PC? Oh wait because the playstation 3 does EVERYTHING? I mean as much as I love the PS3 the PC knocks it out of the water when it comes to capabilities but the 299$ Ps3 is a much cheaper way to play games and the visuals of Killzone 2, uncharted 2 are damn near on par with crysis so technically your getting a bang for your buck.

I like how fanboys like to make up words in system wars. "Console Exclusive" when a game is on multiple systems, and of course "Pure hardcore gamers" What did Sony squeeze the hardcore gamers, and get some kind of superior extract?
