Is the PS3 failing?

as we know in system wars everyone hates Sony, and thier main reason is that they cost more..But right now lets say the PS3 has sold 1.5 million consoles..which I really dont know how its bad since it is only rleased in Japan and NA.But the Wii has sold 4 million to all areas,you have to think...if the PS3 had a worldwide launch like the Wii would it be the same sales figures as now?

Now to the games, as we all know Sonys main concentration for games is 2008..but thier a lot of quality titles in 2007. And imo they are betters than the Wiis

Like someone said above, its faultering, not failing. I honestly don't think the PS3 can be failing until after this coming Xmas season when all three systems are in direct competition with each other and their biggest titles.

One thing I can honestly say is that the PS1 and PS2 never, ever had the bad word of mouth both by gamers and the press that the PS3 has and that's a huge reason its not selling well, along with the fact that is is just to expensive for a video game system and has no killer aps out right now or even in the foreseeable (read six months) future. The PS3 is simply not as entertaining as the Wii, no as next gen or has the killer gaming lineup as the 360. Thats why sales are down. Sony created a system that wasn;'t designed with developers in mind, as well as trojan horsed their Blu-ray inside it, causing the price to be ridiculous.

All in all the PS3 isn't failing, but it is faltering. The problem is with every month that passes the PS3 gets closer to failing because public opinion on it, as well as the press is low. The games aren't all that great and their lineup this year is very suspect. They better pray to God Killzone can stand toe to toe with Halo 3 or this Christmas season they will be in deep trouble. Nintendo has Mario and MS has Halo. Who will champion Sony through this holiday season?

PS3 has now sold over 2.0 million. Heres my opinion if sony can get 1 huge mega super hit game like Gears of war or Halo 3. Or say Killzone 2 ends up playing and looking like the trailer. They could defintly save them selfs. Just 1 of those Huge online shooters and there saved in my opinon.StarFoxCOM

Comparing to 360, yes it does bad, it is more expensive, has far less interesting games announced and far less new IP's, about same graphics, gets games 360 had a year back, some looking worst too, Oblivion without AA and HDR etc etc

I would not call that a bargain really, i am in the fence to get one in a month in Europe, but i tried to find those games to make me get one, and i see that i had better invest in games like Mass Effect and Bioshock, Halo 3, Lost Planet, Lost Odyssey on 360 than get PS3 now, i will save and get it first thing in 2008
