mlb the show 09, killzone 2, and now infamous's hype just went t hrough the roof.

I'd wait until the GS review on inFAMOUS. It's got a great year so far though, even though MLB 09: The Show, isn't counted as an exclusive in System Wars :P
It sure looks that way. As far as inFamous is concerned, it's better to wait for the GS score since SW fanboys won't care about what IGN gives it. But other than that, 2009 is looking good.

Well yeah but i think infamous is pretty much guarenteed to be a good game regardless it seems like. Yeah it could have some repetition or some flaw like it's too easy or something but ign is usually good about knowing if a game is good or not, which is the main thing.

is the 360 with the almighty Halo wars, or PC with the EPIC Zombies vs Plants, or is it the Wii with colourfull Madworld? (no hate intended btw)
i see 2 there, fanboys will disagree :)lol. Owning with one exclusive? That's ... interesting.

Based from what I understand... It depends on your point of view.
If you think all the games in the PS3 this generation are great, then yes, it's "pwning" in your point of view. Otherwise, no.
lol. Owning with one exclusive? That's ... interesting.

Ignoring that MLB the show is not available on the 360, and the best version is ONLY available on PS3. MLB is a bonus to the PS3 and I wish people would stop suggesting it dosn't count because it's not "entirely exclusive". It's an advantage regardless.

It's a bonus for the PS3 yet when lemmings tout their Games For Windows/Xbox 360 games... they're immediately dismissed because they're not exclusive. How interesting.Ek-Andy

True, but then again lining anything up against the PC is grounds for ownage :P

Intresting that you sugest that I fall into that group. PC/360 platform games do offer an advantage. I never said otherwise. Mabye you meant the double standards were on your self seeing as you were the one to claim MLB was not an advantage while simaltenously suggesting that PC/360 games should be. Don't claim double standards when your only going to fall under them your self. I allways find it intresting when people instantly make ridiculous assumptions because they are nessecary to prove their own point.
I thought ownage of the year is decided in December? Funny because ownage of the following year seems to be decided at that time as well.player_leo

it goes both ways really, the moment that MLB becomes an exclusive then so does every 360/PC gameAh, the double standard. When did I suggest that? I was merely pointing out the double standard used by cows. I don't see any advantages -- all I see is that it's multiplatform. Yeah, because as a hermit I would definitely stand by lemmings in touting their "console exclusive" mentality. I don't stand by such drivel. MY point was -- fanboys can't have it both ways, if they're (cows) are going to claim excluvity over MLB, then they must accept the fact that they would open a FLOODGATE of games that would turn exclusive. Finally, the game isn't exclusive in the slighest. Why anyone would suggest it's "Semi-exclusive" is ludicrous. Some times I feel some people need some freshening up on the term "multiplatform"; but I'm digressing now. I'm going to fall under the double standard? Sure.

Okami for the Wii, RE4, Zelda TP are all non-exclusive games, why are cows asking for the double standard? This forum isn't name "CURRENT SystemWars". It's called SystemWars -- encompassing ALL the systems, if you were to make a thread about the PS2 bersus PS3 -- that'd be perfectly alright. :|WhenPicklezFly
There is no double standard. 360 and Pc are diff brands that have very diff fanbases and are both current gen . Ps3 and ps2 are the same brand share the same fanbase and and you can only get the game by current gen standards on the ps3. Thats why is exclusive

The fact is, they both provide a similar experience on 2 different consoles, therefore it's multiplat.

you can only get the game by current gen standards on the ps3. the 360 and pc are diff brands and are both current gen. The game is brand exclusive and the only good version of the game with current gen standards is console exclusive.
You make your year in November, not MayPOJO_MOFO
I agree and disagree. Yes the sales in November are what count. But the early bird gets the worm as they say. Whoever gets off to the better start usually wins later. Hence the 360's lead overall. But this is going to be the ps3's "year". So will next year imo.
