Is The PS4 Ready For Primetime?

There are rumors floating about media journalist that Sony is refusing to send debug kits to them. Adam Sessler has posted several tweets that seem to point to the PS4 not being ready for launch. Apparently only certain gaming website will be receiving a PS4 before it launched on Nov 15th. These website had to sign an NDA. The website who aren't getting already have an XBox One and have had it for over a week now. When the bad news was first seen on Twitter, everyone thought it was the XBox One resolution issue with 3rd party games, but that has been confirmed not to be the case.

With the PS4 being a no show at all the major events (E3, EuroGamer, TGS, Gamescom), everyone had wondered when we would get a chance to actually try the real hardware. Sony announced that the kiosk were being sent out to Best Buy, GameStop, Toys R Us and all the other stores in the U.S., but I have yet to see one. We know it's in Germany somewhere, but no one has commented on how the games have run on it at that location.

The PS4 is so fantastic, they don't want to send it to journalist so they can review their games. Just wonderful. They are having a CLOSED event to select journalist and they will control what can be recorded and used for reviews. lol!!

Yeah, Right. You answer with a rumor and have more rumors to support it. The embargo is MS doesn't want their games going side by side against Sonys that are running on a PC (which will get massive downgrades when they finally do hit the console). Multiple sites have all but confirmed my theory.

I own a PC/PS3/Wiiu/360 and 3DS, the PS4 will be a nice addition to my current gaming and I have so many games to play on the other systems, that I can just sit back and enjoy the PS4. If there are problems with the software I can wait till they get fixed and I'll have a extended warranty on the hardware itself. I know console launches and the problems associated with them and that doesn't bother me.

I'm getting the PS4 on launch night and it will be my first launch console ever. Cant wait.

@Heil68: I played Knack on a PS4 yesterday and I loved that DS4 controller. A huge improvement over DS3. My local gamestop even started trying to sell me a DS4 when I went in today until I told them I had a PS4 already preordered.
