No.
The exclusives are shit compared to Nintendo's.
The launch titles are terrible.
Microsoft does better with non-gaming related apps (Still important)
And Microsoft has more wiggle room when it comes to price drops, subscriptions, and $.
Also the XB1 comes with Kinect and a real head set.Â
No games. Lacking in online features. Inferior controller. Inferior UI. RR360DD

lol compared to the Windows 8 UI, any UI looks good.
To early to tell. Lots of media hype surrounding it so we may not be getting the whole picture. Lots of people getting swept up in the hype as well, me included but when you actually sit back and look at both machines, there's not a lot about them that is enticing aside from the whole "New gadget feeling". clyde46
I imagine for herms the impact is a lot less. But people like me who've spent the last two years playing BF3 on 360, you can imagine how amazing BF4 looks on next gen consoles.
Plus lems now get dedicated servers on CoD as well
No games. Lacking in online features. Inferior controller. Inferior UI. RR360DDSo Killzone, Infamous, Drive Club, and The Order don't exist? Don't mention Titanfall, it's multiplat. What online features? Teh Cloud? Controller is debatable. Did you watch Gamescom? PS4 UI destroys X1's now.
It to me just seems to be almost "too good". I just have to wonder if it is really and truly head and shoulders above the XBOX One or has Sony just done a masterful job of talking about it only when they feel there is a need and everything that gets released to the media is carefully scripted to make the console seem just too amazing. Because the way the PS4 is being talked about would lead people to believe it may well be the best console ever launched!ShoTTyMcNaDeS
I'm a bit leary of their tactics. Showing screens and brief snippets makes me suspect. Time well tell. But like Carney said I think they're closer than SW would have us believe.

Don't need to, Titanfall is just the cherry on top many XOne exclusives.
How about online features such as improved voice chat, completely reworked matchmaking system, completely reworked reputation system, MSs push to get dedicated servers in all games. Sony have mentioned f*ck all when it comes to actual online gaming.
LMAO no.

Killzone's multiplayer is actually the opposite of CoD when it comes to multiplayer if you actually bothered to look at it. The game mode customization reminds me more of Halo custom games than CoD plus it has free DLC. Drive Club looks much better than it did at E3. While it doesn't have 60FPS it is by no means a flop.Â

KZ actually looks really good. I love the new colourful art style and the glow from the lights.

Nope, KZ3 was certainly CoDified. I'll call it Clownzone instead though just to make you happy. ;)
Your obsession with graphics and framerate is funny. Especially when we know the framerate is optimised last. Reputations system can't be abused, read up on it. The bonus is having crystal clear voice chat. My biggest concern is that Sony have talked about being able to play something while it downloads (which X1 can do too) and Gaikai for streaming PS3 games and ... thats it! Not acceptable at all. We're not talking about that sh1tfest KZ3. And 343 even admitted that Halo 4 was rushed out given the lack of game modes or a functioning file browser. Plus the community hates it. The point is, Killzone is improving while Halo has declined, the notion that this next installment is something other than Halo 5 makes me worried that the game will be short and lack features. First of all, BOTH consoles exclusive launch line-up looks rather dull, it's just that the W!'s exclusive line-up looks less dull, and it's not even by a landslide either (Do I have to mention Killer Instinct 6 characters at launch + no story mode for 20 bucks, and if you want the original KI game, and some extra costumes, that's 40 bucks, or how DR3 is still having framerate problems this close to release). The only promising exclusive that MS have at launch is Forza 5, while KZ: SF is all what Sony have to bring to the table. It's all in the multiplats this time around Secondly, while I do believe that XBL will be better overall than the new PSN (MS is a better software company, and Live is also 10 buck more expensive), I don't see the differences being "substantial" like it was this gen.No games. It has more games than 360. Stop being a biased fanboy.
It has the same online features as the X1, except that crap of social networks because you know it's a CONSOLE.
The controller is just a matter of personal taste.
The UI thing I agree. However X1 has too many ads.

But they removed the Gauss Hog from Exile. :( Doubles, Legendary Slayer, and Action Sack are fun though. Too bad Ordinance ruins many of the playlists. And ODST is amazing but what really made it amazing for me aside from the awesome Firefight mode was that beautiful soundtrack, something 343 just can't match. So if this next Halo is a 5hr linear corridor game with a decent but not great soundtrack, it will be a huge disappointment. I think the multiplayer will be fine. Due to some of Frankie's comments I think Ordinance will be removed and CTF will be fixed. And judging by the lukewarm reactions to Spartan Ops and David Ellis changing his job title to something more broad, I think SO will be replaced. My main concern is the campaign. The Greg Bear novels (minus most of Primordium) are fantastic yet they weren't conveyed much in Halo 4. The Precursors would make awesome enemies, and thr ISO-Didact (not Halo 4's) would be an awesome ally but I don't want to wait two more games for that to happen. And I felt that Halo 4 was far too narrow and linear. If 343 comes out with a demo of Chief and some Spartans charging into battle with Scorpions and Mammoths against Scarabs and Harvesters they'd have my money. That fake pastebin plot with Chief being on the run from ONI travelling the galaxy in his own ship sounds amazing. The Halo Universe has so much potential and I don't want to see it wasted, especially due to deadlines. So far it's the best platform for me and the family. Not perfect, but it'll get the job done. Best value, overall. We can expect software support long-haul. Will probably upgrade HDD after a year or two.
