What do you think, is it?

Its got an amazing controller and has the most innovative games. Do you think its a full blown revolution? Will it change the video game world for years to come?

Unfortuneatly, Nintendo fully relies on "unique" controls to generate innovation, but that isn't enough, games like Portal are more innovative then any Wii game is yet to be.

I don't think so. I think it will be a revolution when we get virtual reality. Virtual reality that doesn't blind you, that is.

No. The only thing is has "revolutionized" is filling Nintendo's wallets.

The Wiimoteis not a "revolution", its just another kind of controller. An interesting controller with potential in certain types of games, but still just a controller.

Not really a revolution( that requires something greater like the 2d-3d jump), but definately an evolution

if 360/ps3 are, then the Wii has the potential to be a macro evolution( potential)

Yeah it's really good, and not because of the graphics processor.

Its not a revolution nor will it ever be. It was just a new take on controlling games that Nintendo is cashing in on.

Not yet. Z&W and MP3:C are the only games so far that look to/have utlized the controller really well.

Yeah but isn't portal a remake of one of valve's employees old student projects?

And you know not that dimension hopping (not too similar to portal but in a way resembles) wasn't originated in A Link to the Past but it sure was a heavy part of it. Just Saying.

I disagree. As like Portal, I believe Zack & Wiki will do that for the Wii. You can be very innovated with the Wiimotes.

The Wiimote could have been if it worked well in every genre, so far many games have not used the Wiimote well, and I have yet to see a real racing or fighting game use it significantly.

A casual revolutionLemmywinks_360

yes, in a sense, but i think there is enough meat in a some of the games they put out to justify a revolution.

From one of the best games ever made, Nintendo's Golden Age has begun.
