I mean is there anything better that is going to revolutionize gaming like MGS4 did?
The game should make the developers to rethink and return to the drawing board and make them take every step with MGS4 in their minds.

i'm afraid not, atleast for this year. With MGS4, they only other titles i'll get is unreal 3 and GEARS 2. Killzone's been pushed back to '09 as well as sims3. This year is still far from over so wait until the end of E3, we might still be in for a few surprises.
Spore. Easily.XaosII
I hope it delivers though, from videos it looks fantastic but with our own experiences, it is going to be a different story.

I think Epic should delay Gears 2, it does look exactly like the first one, only the setting seems different which will not save it if the gameplay is not evolved.
I'm having more fun playing Brawl personally. Sure Metal Gear Solid has the online, but....eh......SSBB doesn't have 90 minute cutscenes....Optusnet
Look if you want to bash the cutscenes then you are not a gamer, you should know that videogames has to offer all kinds of gaming experiences and not just for one audience to evolve and get respected.
EDIT: the cutscenes are not 90 minutes long.

Uh Gears 1 is really really good, its almost two years old and is still considered one of the best playing , and best looking games this gen
MGS4 is Not the return of the gaming Messiah, please people stop making it something its not, its an near perfect execution of a storied franchise, its not redefining, or creating a new genre, its a stealth action game

I'm not bashing the cutscenes. It's just that when I play a game I expect gameplay, not frequent interrupted movies..........OK NOW I'm bagging the cutscenes, but since when does not liking overly-long cutscenes in an otherwise brilliant game make me a non-gamer?
*goes back to playing Brawl*

Well...MGS4 is offering alot and screaming evolution.
I bet if Kojima is setting next to Cliffy and each one is showing his game in "on the spot", cliffy would be embarrassed by his game.

I rather watch frequent interrupted movies than cooking my mama and being fit in a gaming console

If you had played Half-Life in 1998 you would know what revolutionary really means.

Unfortunately I'd played MGS back in 1998 and it was way revolutionary than HL.

if mgs4 is so good why are all 3 halo's and gears of war above it at gamerankingsdelta3074
Because GR is biased against the PS3 and payed off by MS.

MGS4 is really good, so is the Halo series and Gears of War. I think MGS4 is better than the other two, but that's my opinion...

What major advancement does MGS4 have that makes it revolutionary?
