Is there a problem with the 360?

I have been seeing alot of threads saying how the 360 is loosing sales, how the PS3 will pass it and that it will have better games. Also there have been alot of people switching to the PS3 saying how the 360 is past its prime in games and power. So are these claims true and is the 360 having problems and in trouble?

no probs...it's still selling well everywhere I think except Japan lol and as far as power wise the 360 is still on par with the PS3 if not better in most multiplats

Microsoft should get concerned once the attach ratio for games starts to favor the PS3 over the 360.

HD-DVD is dead, and PS3 is the cheapest Blu-Ray player and the only Blu-Ray player on the market that is Profile 2.0 upgradable.

Regardless of what fanboys may say, 399.99 for a 40GB PS3 + Spiderman 3 + Virtual Fighter 5 (The latest Future Ship Bundle) is a GREAT deal.

While the concept of who has better games is interesting, the attach rate is still the real tell tale sign in that regard although I am personally rooting for all three consoles to have a great 2008.

With the price drop still fresh of the 80GB, and a great value for the 40GB especially with HD-DVD losing and Sony offering the best Blu-Ray player on the market within their PS3, no one should be surprised they are selling more hardware.

But what is the going rate for a new game around where you live?

For me its 59.99 for a new 360 game, 69.99 for a new PS3 game, 49.99 for a first party Wii game, 59.99 for a third party game

N00b question......but whats an open network?

Weak 2008 line-up for 360, while PS3 has a very strong line-up that is better than 360s '07( it even might just top there own 09 line-up with TEAM ICO game, Eight Days, 2 Final Fantasy games, Twisted Metal, Syphon Filter,God of War 3, and slew of JRPG titles).
RROD,Over-heating, poor customer service, defective consoles,etc.
Lacks Blu-ray, and too many models on the market.

open network means that the developers can make the online component any way they want to ... one example of this is mods for the ps3 version of UT3 ...

Where do you live? Where I live (US), 360 and PS3 games cost 59.99 and Wii games 49.99.

Where do you live? Where I live (US), 360 and PS3 games cost 59.99 and Wii games 49.99.

That's so true although I have been able to get a PS3 game for 39.99 (COD4). And at the cost of the DVD format game and M$ wants to charge extra to play on-line is just plain dumb. It has nothing to do with the cost of playing on-line it's the principal of the charges that every one else is giving the consumer for free.

No, I don't think so. Moreover, I don't think that you should pay careful attention to them.
