Is there any celebrity out there that would sway your opinion in favor of a certain game or console?

The "John Cena likes the Switch" article got me thinking (Oh no, no more thinking Ninja.)...

Is there any “real” celebrity out there that would sway your opinion in favor of a certain game or console?

Are there any “big name” stars (I’m talking at the A list level.) that are big gamers and actually know what they are talking about?

It seems like these big companies hire whoever they can who has a big fan-base or following and "pimp" them out to say or do things they wouldn't otherwise normally do (I'm not insinuating that Cena doesn't play games but he hardly comes off as an authority on gaming.).

Being a "hardcore" gamer isn't a necessity to being able to relate to or say what you do or don't like when it comes to gaming but I think it is definitely a positive (in addition to what they say having more "weight.").

Scarlett Johansson will make me like Xbox more.

It didn't sway me in the presidential election. It sure as hell won't sway me on buying a game system.

Of course not. The man is at the top of his field. He is a legit celebrity. The "Real" in my main question was not referring to Cena's status as a celebrity but rather to some other names that might pop up that most out there might not consider "A list." EX: some actor/actress (technically a celebrity.) who plays a secondary character on a random TV show.

There are a few celebrities who I would actually buy the opposite console to the one they are trying to sell me.

I'd buy whatever Selena Gomez tells me I should buy. Anything for her.
