Is there any PS3 owner who is not going to buy KZ2?

Some of you guys really amaze me :

But how can you claim that --->boring and repeating shooters and i really dislike the look of this game because of the same looking enemies and so many dark and industrial levels.

I don't understand , how can you know this?How do you know that it will be boring and repeatitive ? Can you look in the future ?

Wow. Just wow. You might as well just throw your PS3 out the window right now because making this topic, but most of all the content in your post WHEN THE GAME ISNT EVEN OUT makes you look no better then the average lemming.

Just wait for the damn game to come out.

It all depends..If the game get a good score like 9-10 then maybe yes but also im thinking of skate 2..So if the games get almost identical scores then I would buy skate

I will buy it but probably will not play it a lot. For me bes shooters in console is UT III, not only because is the only one with keyboard + mouse support (I hate pad to play shooters) but because has the best weapon roster in any other: all of then are different and all of them balanced and useful in a lot of situations.

But as a graphic whore myself I must add that KZ2 is the only fps that I'm intetrested into since Crysis/Warhead; taking in consideration the hardware the work from Guerrilla is amazing.

I'm not going buy KZ2 if it ends up being a crappy game like the first one.

Most people who don't go to gaming websites haven't even heard of this game. They really have to advertise the hell out of this game for it to get recognized, and that will be hard to do since many stations won't let that kind of violence in their commercials.

I think very few won't get it. As far as I know, the vast majority of PS3 owners are hardcore gamers who will be interested in a game like KZ2. Am just a casual gamer and am going to buy a PS3 the day KZ2 comes out!!

I'm not going buy KZ2 if it ends up being a crappy game like the first one.

I simply don't see anything special in this game, im tyred of this generic, boring and repeating shooters and i really dislike the look of this game because of the same looking enemies and so many dark and industrial levels.skyform

Resistance 2 during Christmas could just barely break the top 10 and it had bad sales and that also was a FPS. Better yet at least Resetance 2 came from a respected sequel but now KZ2 will be sold to pretty much every PS3 owner???PS3 owners are out of control.

I like the animation, i do not like anything else, including the visuals, art, level design, gameplay, texturing, etc

So, given it is 8 hours long, i will just rent it for a day

HS sold over a million, Uncharted sold over 2 million and MGS4 sold over 4 million. There's no PS3 game as popular as Halo 3, but there's a world outside of North America. PS3 games sell better in Europe, where the Killzone series is more popular.

Oh so now Europe is the FPS king? KZ2 wil now have better sales because Europe is so in love with the FPS games? Lets face it KZ2 will have good sales but people acting like it will be some huge blockbuster are being fanboyish. There is no way it will sell more then MGS4. KZ2 does not have the fanbase. All we here on this forum is either how great MGS4 is and KZ2 (for now). Heck even god of war only sold around 3 million with a 130 million user base and I keep seeing how it will kill the 360. The PS3 fans on here are out of control. Every exclusive you all act like it is sent from heaven. Also do not say all fanboys do it because I do not see many hyoe threads for Halo Wars, Stoked, Pro Racer, and so on. Sure some talk about it and thrilled but not going on and on,

If Killzone 2 sells, it will sell in the same manner that the original Gears of War sold once it was released; with word of mouth. Unfortunately, the lack of publicity for the game before release will mean that it will sell no where near what the original Gears of War has (~5 million as of Sept. 200 8) until well into its lifetime.

I will be purchasing the game.

Hoping the people looking forward to the game enjoy it though. I know my taste is not universal, so those enjoying this generation immensely will hopefully keep on enjoying it.

A few overly-enthusiastic fanboys on System Wars do not speak for the entire PS3 fanbase. And PS3 games do tend to sell slightly better in Europe because it has a higher install base than NA. I'm not saying Europe will "make up all these sales", I'm not sure what you mean by that. I believe Resistance 1/2 and the PS3 version of COD 5 did better in Europe than NA. And since there is a KZ 2/PS3 bundle, it's being released in a slow period with little competition and the fact that Killzone is more popular in Europe, I'll be damned surprised if it's a sales flop.

In comparison to the Xbox 360, the Playstation 3 doesn't have a better attachment rate for software. There are obvious reason why Metal Gear Solid 4 has sold more then Uncharted; it's an establish franchise with legendary videogame character. Right now, I only see 3 games from Sony's exclusives(one for Japan) that many people will buy. One is Gran Turismo 5 which speaks for itself. Dragon Quest X isn't coming to the PS3, but for owners in Japan they will eat up some Final Fantasy XIII. And considering how God of War is getting more synonymous with Playstation in the west I think that game is going to do better.

Now I know a few people who have bought their PS3(much like the Xbox 360 as well) who just want to play NBA, GTA, and Madden. In order for Killzone 2 to reach the status of Halo, there can be no mistakes. It might end up turning out like LBP. During the holiday season I saw more Playstation 3 commercials with a sackboy rather then an actual LBP commercial.
