yeah their is one way to fix it for good and that is to buy a ps3
...or a Wii,or any other gaming system you can find.
But I'm guessing no.It isn't called "Red Ring Of Death" for nothing. And there's no fixing death.

What a great idea!!! Thanks!!
I don't know if you've tried it, but I gotthe RROD just once about a year ago, and all I had to do was plug the power cord into the back of the console more firmly. Never had any RROD after that.

I've tried everything, from petting it, to headbutts. I quit though so I just sent it to Microdoft.. >_>

You can tell if its power related by the colour of the light on your power brick. Yellow = plug properly, green = dead console

Oh ok. I'll keep that in mind. So far I've been really lucky.

There are two ways I know of, one I've tried. 1st way is like a towel method, it involves wrapping your 360 in a towel for about 45 minutes while it is on, letting it overheat more than usual, supposedly warping the mobo so it works again...
That's the method I've tried, and my 360 worked for 1 more day, then died again. It's the only way I know of that won't get rid of your warranty.
The second involves taking apart the 360. I do not recommend this if you do not know you way around computer hardware. It voids the warranty, so you would have to pay to get it repaired or buy a whole new system.
You remove the 360's case, wrapy, I think it was 4-5 pennies in paper towel, and put the end of the paper towel under the stack of pennies. Makes a couple of these and replace the 360's old heatsinks with those. I'm not exactly sure that's how it went, so you should probably google that method first. But, supposedly that has worked on many 360's, at least the guys willing to attempt it.
