Is there EVEN ONE Game This Gen All can Agree on that is deserved of AAA

I doubt it.......( I mean there's not many out there yet) I'll say Rainbow Six Vegas as my guess

Hell....I think it might be tough to go pack to last gen......but I'll toss up Resident Evil 4 for last gen as well.

Any objectors let yourself be known. Also toss out other games for this gen (or last gen) you think everyone might be able to agree on as deserved of AAA status.

mgs4, halo 3, bioshock, mass effect, crysis. those for sure all look like the deserve aaa on the old rating system. but on the new one who knows what could happen. but i still think we have to wait for the final product and scores and then we can argue wheter or not it really should be a,aa, or aaa depending on what it scores (i dont think any will get a but just through that in).xbox360isgr8t

It'll never happen, unless maybe it's a multiplat title... then... MAYBE. There will always be nay-sayers as well as the fanboys.

Yeah, *sigh* I mean most of the games that are great that people bash on (Halo 2 gets it the worst) are still great. I would agree that those games you listed will all be deserved of their AAA status......I really can't see any of them not getting AAA

I definitely disagree. I mean everything scaling to your level? WTF you could be the best fighter in the arena at level one. What kind of RPG is that? There were no actual Role-Playing elements as the story was VERY linear you only had alot of room to walk around in that linear story. Oblivion was a great action game but a HORRIBLE RPG.

How can you even say that Halo 2 is great? It's as far from great as you can come when it comes to FPS, have you ever even played any real PC shooter?

I'd say Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Forza 2 are the most well deserved of their respective scores.

Gears of War.

It is a great lookin game. It is a fun game, with lots of action happening. It is a little short no doubt, but you have 3 difficulties, the ability to do co-op and an online mode which is amazingly fun to play.

It was overhyped but it a an awesome game.

Oblivion did NOT deserve AAA. It's a mess of a game. Pretty boring too. The main quest, guild quests, and practically ever part of the game is worse than Morrowind. Not only the Guilds were beatable in a few hours, there's way less of them. In Morrowind, there are loads.

Gears of War did NOT deserve AAA. It had pretty graphics, but subpar multiplayer and a shortlived singleplayer.

I don't even own a PS3, but I'd have to say Ninja Gaiden Sigma. It's a monster of a game. It's lengthy, has amazing graphics, great story, and is an amazing game that adheres to a classic formula.

It does. I have hyped that game more than any game I've ever hyped. It's one of the few games I actually bought on opening day. Not only that, but I bought the collectors edition. I had a fear it was going to be dumbed down, but I got over it and just played it anyways. But then I actually played it. They cut out many Morrowind skills. They nerfed the graphics that were found in screenshots beyond belief. When I went outside, I noticed nothing but a gross poo-stain green covering the land 50 feet ahead of me. They really messed up orginally. The popup and bad terrain detail was hard to stomache. I beat the main quest that very day too. It was so disappointing. It was so short and easy. I continued and beat *all* the guilds within the following two days. The game is too small compared to Morrowind.

In Oblivion, there was no purpose to exploration. All the loot would be hidden until you leveled high enough to get the loot elsewhere. There was no point to making new characters because you can cover all the major skills with your first two characters.

In Morrowind, the game was a blast. You would find caves full of loot, only to find traps and insanely tough monsters that you'd have to run away from. You actually had to survive in that game.

None this generation. Sort of to this point, Oblivion is garbage.

But last generation? I think Soul Calibur might get people in agreement.
