Whats some of your guys opinion on the Wii being considered next gen.

Wii was labaled New Gen. What it does different from the gamecube is how the game is played, offering a new way of playing that the gamecube or any other system to date could not offer. While it is much weaker then the 360 and the PS3 it is more powerful then the gamecube, even if not much of that has been seen yet. They wanted to keep a low price for the adverage buyer. What the Wii is best known for is not how the games look but how the games play. Nintendo took a new road in the next gen race, so far the road is looking good but only time will tell what awaits the Wii.

If it isn't next-gen, please tell me what system last-gen was just like it in every possible way.
