Is Wii worth getting?

imo, yes its totally worth it. zelda and metroid are both awsome games aswell

Yes. Super Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario. Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3 Corruption, Trauma Center: Second Opinion, Trauma Center: New Blood, Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, and Zack & Wiki are all games worth owning. The Wii is a great console. In 2008 we have No More Heroes, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, Disaster: Day of Crisis, among other outstanding titles. Don't miss out! I own all 3 consoles, as you can see with my ID's in my sig, and I play Wii the most.

I would say go with the Wii. Just a few amazing games out now are Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda Twilight Princess, and Metroid Prime 3 to start off. And if you want to play some shooters, Call of Duty 3, Red Steel, and Medal of Honor Heroes 2 are all decent games. Not to mention there are some more awesome games coming very, very soon for the Wii including No More Heroes, Mario Kart Wii, and Super Smash Bros Brawl.

Get a Wii and I promise it will be one of the best console purchases you will ever make.

yeah buy one.these games should be your priority:SMG, metroid, zelda and zack & wiki. you can't go wrong with those 4 :)

the VC is awesome too (mainly because of sin and sunishment :D )

get a 360 first

If you can get your hands on one then yes (they sell out very quickly).

The Wii is easily the best value for any system, and will be the console to own in the future.

Here's my proof:

As the years go on, games like MGS4, and Mass Effect will go multiplay(to PC), this is guarnteed by me(Just like KOTOR did and every other KOTOR based game).

Wii games will never go multiplat.

The Wii as a system is different, so it is more prone to exclusives from third parties.

So, as the years go on, the Wii will accumulate exclusives. The PS3 and the 360 will lose them.

If you are an avid game enthusiast, you know the power of a system is based on its exclusive titles.

Add to this the fact that the Wii is the cheapest console, has a decent library for its timeframe of release, has the most and quickest growing third party support, plus:

Wii + PS3/360/PC = Majority of Great Games this Gen

MEANS THAT:

The Wii is the only must own console this generation from a software standpoint.
