For the first 2 YEARS of its life the PS3 came UNDER lots of fire for not have AAA GAME'S and the phrase 'Just Wait' was used ALOT.

Now the tables have turned and those that waited are REAPING the rewards of standing by what is possibly the greatest games platform ever.

I don't think 360 owners are eating anything but good games right now. the fact it took the PS3 this long to catch up should humble Sony.

I love this argument. Nevermind buying all of the consoles. No-no. Just wait a couple years and then be proud that you have a handful of good games to play when you could have played great games the entire time, and then just added the recent releases to your library. That makes sense.

Yeah, the CC series isnt particularly great but Crystal Bearers is a giant turn in the right direction it seems. It still has the fun gameplay (different though) but has an actually deep story, seemingly deep overall gameplay (stat magement/leveling) and a more detailed and expansive overworld. Thats the way I see it anyway.

Oh, and dont get your hopes up for DQX next year. Maybe '11

WHoa Oath, super paper mario is a horrible in terms of a RPG. I mean crap it wasn't even a good game, but that's a different point entirely. RPG wise, it was like the worst of all the mario rpgs. jg4xchamp

The departure from the traditional RPG formula wasnt exactly the best idea I guess. SPM was good, but a vast RPG journey with charm is always better.

Hopefully the next Paper game is an RPG.

And if you get a chance, give Muramasa and Little Kings Story a shot. Pretty damn good games.

No matter how you look at it, buying the PS3 before the price drop was not a good move. They have nothing to be proud about. The best decision would be to have a 360 until 2009 then get the PS3 for cheap. The PS3 started at 600$ and had no games for three years. Buying it back then was not a good decision no matter how you look at it.

The PS3 is finally getting some quality titles and now the fanboys are tooting their horns. Please keep the noise down. It was just this kind of fanaticism that turned me into a xbox fan back in the day. I am just starting to enjoy my PS3, dont ruin the fun.

On topic: although OP has a point to a degree (I mean it did suck early on and it's been pretty damn good this year, so the waiting is indeed over and wasn't in vain), I have never seen nor will I ever see a pc gamer on this board claiming the PS3 has graphics that can't be beaten. I always suspect people making such claims of flamebaiting in the hope of getting a thread to have a hogh post-count. Everyone with eyes (that work) sees pc graphics are far superior to anything any console offers.

Having said that, my PS3 is getting more playtime lately than my 360. My Wii only gets used when friends are over, but that doesn't have anything to do wit this topic. Still that little bit of information may just have made whoever reads this's day just a little better. Or not. Probably not.
