It is just offensive how Uncharted 2......

...........Looks that good!!! OMG!! I played the first, and as you know, its my favorite PS3 game. So i finally got Uncharted 2 today (after taking back Dragon Age) and this game looks stunning. No question in my mind it looks better than any console game. I was skeptical because of how cows hype EVERY PS3 exclusive to be the next graphics king, but i can honestly say this one takes the cake!! Naughty Dog did a great job improving on the first game, no more jaggies everywhere like the first. The small touches like moving snow when you walk is great. :o So, what part of this game made you gow "WOW"?? Whats your favorite level?? Have you beat it?? How long is it?? How is the online community?? Thanks in advance :D

Agreed, the game looks incredible.

Online, there's usually about 20K people. Not many but plenty to get a game with.

It's around 10 hours long on normal and IMO the snow, city and village levels look the best.

I agree its probably the most phenomenal game so far in terms of graphics...

(EDIT: Except for Crysis...lol, have to be careful with your words in system wars >.>)

I agree, there were parts where I pressed up on the D-pad just to take a look around. Running around and rolling over the snow looked awesome too. Every PS3 owner should have this in their collection. I did have some very very minor complaints about the graphics and it's Chloe's eyes, for some reason they were too shiny lol and when you're flipping through your note pad or whatever, Nate's fingers didn't looked that detailed, but those are very very minor complaints about the graphics.

The best part is earning a medal for playing marco polo in the pool on top of the hotel in nepal lol.

Try and check out the scenery when you're on the train level when it's in motion. You pretty much miss the best scenery because of that level. lol.

Practically the whole game made me say "WOWZERS!" ... Um it took me 10 and a Half hours to beat, and I've only played a match or two online, just too busy playing other games at the moment PLUS MW2 is coming soon and now it seems I might not ever give the multiplayer a real shot.

The car chase in the snow towards theendwas goooooooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuurgeous. Loved it.

Going up to the last scene's temple or whatever (climbing those stairs in the lightning storm), the village, the ice caves (especially that little bit with the stream of water), and the blue flamed-caves all had me going wow.

Not exactly sure what my favorite level is, but there a lot of epic moments, it's honestly hard to pin point one.

Yes, I beat it-- twice. In fact this is the first game where I actually wanted to play it again after I had beaten it. I beat it my first time through in 12 hours and 1 minute and the second time accumulated to a total around 24 hours. And I'm still playing it to collect all the treasures :)

The online community has a strong number of around 18000 players max from what I've seen but averages anywhere between 10,000-16,000. The co-op is tight and the multiplayer is a joy-- my biggest annoyances is quitters. Playing plunder is some of the best fun I've ever had online. Team work in that game is so insanely tight-- oh yeah and also in chain reaction, though to a lesser extent. Chain reaction can be the shortest game or the longest game u have ever played, it all depends on the balance of teams but rest assured that when you play with two even teams it is a frantic rat race :) I love the online

Wasn't as impressed as some people were but it did look very good. Then again i am used to playing crysis on very high lolwalkingdream

Pretty much all of it wowed me. My two favourite places for sheer gorgeousness, though, were

[spoiler] The first part of the train section (some of the scenery is flat out beautiful, and the lighting just makes it that much more sexy), and Shambala, which made my jaw hit the floor. [/spoiler]

The single player is Amzing, the graphics are the best for consoles imo, online gets boring fast though imo I beat it on Hard, took me 8 hours, had a blast though.Mkavanaugh77

I don't think there wasn't a single place in Uncharted 2 that didn't seem amazingly good.

[spoiler] Shambhala really did floor me, the minute they opened that door you were just drawn into a completely different world, I loved the part when the rock started to slide down the hill. [/spoiler]

The presentation was excellent but I felt the story was lacking.... Also, I never felt like I was truly in control of what was going on around me. For some reason the controls really disconnected me from the experience.

Napal made me go wow! after that the last level also when it's raining. Don't wanna spoil it. Water was done very well in this game. Check out when it's raining. Rain drops bounce of of their heads. Amazing.

it does look great. but once you get past the graphics its VERY simular to the 1st but WAAAAAAY easier. doesn't deserve GOTY imo. that should clearly go to DAO.

I was more impressed with it's consistancy than the graphics, though the graphics are very good. I'm used to playing on a small screen though, so when I started to use a bigger screen it didn't look quite as good asI wasused to, infact it really explains alot when you see a game on a big screen. The story managed to hit every cliche possible thoughwhich got a bit annoying after a while. Still, it's hard to avoid when the game is so over the top anyway.

Greatest game I've played since OOT. I loved the collapsing building as well as chapters 19-20 in the village. AMAZING!!!

If one more person says the PS3 has no games I'm going to kill someone. If no game has blown your mind on the PS3 yet, including this one, I don't know, I just don't know.

My jaw was open the whole time I was playing it. Amazing game, and not just for the graphics. The pacing, the enviroments, the action, the voice acting, the characters, everything about this game has raised the bar for action adventure games.

i feel the same way as you TC, best game this gen for me.

Im on chapter 18, and im taking it slow cz i dont wann finish it too fast so im switching between MP and SP.

but the stuff that makes me go "wow" is EVERYTHING. Lol seriously, every level has some amazing scenic look outs. i always stop and admire the graphics.

THe water is also somethign that makes this game amazing. Its crazy how well its done.
