To the guy who complained about his toaster not making coffee:
You are embarrasing yourself. That is one of the lamest excuses I've ever heard. Wii's hardware is pathetic - absolutely pitiful for that matter. Casuals would probably be pissed about this (if they actually used their Wiis  ), and you know it. Playing a CD is one of the mostbasic features disc reading machine these days has; and by not having one, the Wii has cemanted itself is place as the most patheitc piece of technology ever vomited forth by Nintendo.

the xbox 360 has internet browser? last time i check that is a really important feature
who in their right mind would use it? honestly? I didnt even use that feature on my psone... back when people actually used cds
Whats embarrassing is a 360 being unable to play x-box games :/

I watch DVD's on my PS2, mainly because it is the only DVD player hooked up to the TV in the basement where the consoles are. Why wouldI want a console to play CD's when my computer can play them in 5.1 surround sound?

XD. I guess casuals don't buy wiis then because no one has complaind of this yet. And as you said they would care... So it guess it's just Core Gamers buying the Wii.

Wow, Uncle_Uzi, you got owned pretty hard there. Two great points that put a twist on your failed attempt to bash a video game machine from playing music.
JuarN18 brings up a really good point. Microsoft, you know, those guys who dab a bit in the computer and internet world failed to get a simple web browser on their console before that "patheitc piece of technology," otherwise known as the Nintendo Wii.
I guess every system has their pros and cons, or is that a concept you disagree with as well?
