That is pretty funny, but my favourite is still the montage one.

The Uncharted 2 commercial with the guy who's girlfriend (HOT girlfriend) think it's a movie is THE funniest.

Hahaha, that was really funny.　Sony went from having fairly lame commercials to commercials that are better than most other ones out there.

Those Windows 7 commercials are terrible. I didn't mind the previous ones that much, but the latest ones are just straight bashing. They don't even talk about their product. If the Apple logo wasn't recognizable, I wouldn't even know what they're advertising.

Those Windows 7 commercials are terrible. I didn't mind the previous ones that much, but the latest ones are just straight bashing. They don't even talk about their product. If the Apple logo wasn't recognizable, I wouldn't even know what they're advertising.

apple has been running those terrible mac vs pc ads for years and they never once talked about mac os features. they simply bash windows. as for the other apple commercials for the ipod and mac computers, they don't talk about features. they play horrible music with some idiots "dancing" (more like jumping) around and then show the product at the end of the commercial. at least for there iphone commercials they talk about the apps (even though they don't make the apps). MS's "i'm a pc" commercials aren't the best, and sometimes they can be annoying, but at least they talk about features, the os's stability, ease of use and show the manufacturers that make the computers (sony, toshiba, hp, etc.)

the thing about these ps3 'it only does everything' commercials is...the console has been out for years already. people know it doesnt do everything lol. people know that infact its actually lacking in some ways. sony is acting like its their launch commercials with these and its not fooling anybody. even casuals know the ps3 needs some work. after years of being out anybody who's into video games knows enough about all 3 systems by now. so the commercials just end up looking foolish, funny or not.

But it was stupid because it implies that Windows ran back into problems again with XP. XP was excellent and didn't run into problems like Windows of the past.

I hope they keep this ad campaign up into at least next year. I hope Sony buys some Super Bowl ad space this year. Imagine a New PS3 ad Super Bowl size.:D

I liked that serious kinda semi-creepy tone for the first PS3 commercials, hehe. It was new and a bit mysterious when it was first released, and those original ads made it seem even moreso :-D I'm not a fan of cheesy game commercials- but thats just me : If they can pull off humor then awesome, but the blu-ray one failed in that regard imo.

there's nothing wrong with the commercial itself, it's the message it sends. there's a guy who spends $300 (plus tax) to buy a video game console and doesn't even know what video games are on it. that simply sends the message that most ps3 owners just bought the console because it has the name "Sony" or "PlayStation" on it. that's the same message that SCEE CEO David Reeves sent out when he said "We have built up a certain brand equity over time since the launch of PlayStation in 1995 and PS2 in 2000 that the first five million are going to buy it, whatever it is, even [if] it didn't have games". all that commercial does is make ps3 owners look like brand loyal fanboys who don't even follow gaming.

That was the only funny one they've made so far IMO. Good for a chuckle.
