It Only Does Everything!

New campaign Ads

Sonys really starting to get back into the competition... This is the only ad that ive seen this gen which has reminded me of ads from the ps2 era..
which in my eyes is good news cause sony had the BEST marketting team of all companies back in the day..

Hopefully this is just the beginning ;)

heh jsut kiddinga , good to see the ps3 back on its feet , hope it doesn't flop , and hopefully i will be able to get some money and buy a ps3 slim and a 360 at the same time .

Be looking for good deals but i still maintain that £200 in the UK would really sell more people on the point.

Sony are not the only ones who have been guilty of this. I will say this much, though. For all their faults this gen, they sure as hell are trying to make amends and win the consumer finally. For that, I give them props.

Ahh, still using 2006 arguments in 2009 because you have no ammunition left or are you just holding a grudge? I think it is probably a mixture of both. You want to play that way? One can just as easily sing a similar tune from the other end, my friend. So you might want to take out the earplugs.

How about Microsoft rushing out the 360 a year early with faulty hardware just so they could get a headstart? How about only being able to buy a ridiculously overpriced HDD that is made by Microsoft should you want to upgrade it? How about charging for online? Should I go on?

One can fling arrows at all of them for certain faults as none of them are perfect. It's ok, though. As I am aware that only fanboys that feel they have an axe to grind ignore the faults of the particualr brand they choose to blindly wave the flag of, while only pointing out the faults of consoles they do not own. Quite funny, but sadly very old. Thanks for the laugh anyway.

• I'd give the first one 9/10
• I think the first part of the second one is really funny ... "what , what is this 1992? ".... that's a good way to start getting people toconnect their consoles , both new and old customer. The last part of the ad fell flat with the candle talk though.
• The blue really pops in the ads and in store and print ads , good job there

The thing they should do is keep running the first ad and variations on it with the guy still in denying the $299 pricepoint. Run them all the way into 2010 :lol:

The PS3 is a sweet system. I love the red, White, Blue, and Silver controllers as they are the colors of my team the Patriots. I have a 4 controller and within a week I'll have 1 of each color to go along with my controller skins and system skin. My nephews thinks it's really cool to have all those colors controllers to match the patriots colors. I'm going to suggest to my brother Shawn that likes the Cowboys to go with the Silver and Blue controllers with his Slim.
