It seems that the new 399$/euros PS3 is going to KILL the competition.

The reasonable price along with all the great games coming will put the 360 in its grave and perhaps even the Wii fad.

PlayStation will soon return to its rightfull place and hopefully the devs will then concetrate on its hardware benefits for areally new experience.

Price was the only important factor to keep the PS3 behind (and despite this it sold pretty well) now nothing can stop it.(BASIC ECONOMICS)

All the rest factors matter only in SW and were infact no problem for Sony which hadnt started its attack.

Now the time has come,the first year (half year in other regions) was just a test,an introduction.PS3's introduction sells as good as the 360 globally.Imagine now.

Time for all of us to buy the best and most future proof console in the market.Time to play our 50GB games.

I think it will improve sales which is what the ps3 needs at this point , but it won't kill the competition because the system selling games are not in sight.I think by the time it gets another drop and GT5 hitsthe ps3 will really start to shine in Europe.

Didn't really hear about that (even with all the unneeded coverage Gamespot f'ing shoveled onto this game), but the Japanese prefer JRPG's with deep plots and engaging characters (mighta mixed those up :P), not shooters with tons of action and gore. I think that's general knowledge.

Have any of these consoles lost their respective System Battles? No, they won. Show me one system that has one a System Battle without Dragon Quest ever since the inception of the series.

Both with Dragon Quest. I see no Dragon Quest on the PS3. NO CONSOLE HAS WON WITHOUT IT, NOR HAS IT EVER APPEARED ON A LOSING CONSOLE. I don't remember taking down Necrosaro on the Sega Saturn, or using my King Slime to destroy Deathtamoor on the Dreamcast.
