It sucks that Rockstar downgraded RDR2's graphics.

I was still playing the SP mode and haven't finished the main story. I was just taking a break but it looks like now I'll never go back to it. The lack of ambient occlusion is disgusting. It makes the game look last gen based on the comparison videos. The most detailed game of this gen is now ugly as hell. Yet another game to be ruined by manbabies who just have to get their online mp fix.

All the more reason to wait for the PC release.

Yeah I don't care if it takes 2 decades, I'll be playing it on PC.

Are there comparison pics? Sucks they did that, though. Game ran fine.

They did this same crap with GTA5 back in the day. Removed parallax occlusion mapping or something. They brought it back though.

I'm glad I finished it before the downgrade but yeah that PC version hopefully it gets at least announced this year.

The game looks great on X1X. Luckily, the game is a joy to play which is inherently much more important than "ambient occlusion."

yea this. I'm glad I played it on launch even though I just have a base model PS4, I just used auto aim and the way the movement works makes the 30fps pretty tolerable (though there were some extremely painful drops below 30 in the city and Valentine).

I intend to replay it on PC in first person with keyboard and mouse.

I am falling for Rockstars shitty tactics but they make some excellent games

I did wait for GTA V on PC but played RDR1 on PS3 so it didn't seem as crazy to get the sequel on console

RDR2 looks fantastic on Xbox One X :)

It's the only best version to play it on Xbox One X and not sure what you would expect?

Maybe this is a 900iq marketing strat to make the top secret pc version look that much more impressive so more people will buy it twice.

Not really crazy. If it's a game you really must play, then go for it. Play it to you're heart's content :)

I did buy GTAV on PS3 despite I knew the PC version was being held back and Rockstars knew I'll rebuy it on PC but I sure did learn my lesson on that day, wait for the PC version if you can.

It was fine playing on a Xbox one S never had a problem with auto aim or 30fps.

I'll definitely be waiting by the bargain bin on this and The one solely for PC games at that. I've heard that the gameplay is clunky with the same shitty lock on mechanics as Red Dead 1. The story in RDR1 was pretty frikkin abysmal - so I am definitely fine with waiting a long time to play this heaping mess.

Gamers were hyped for RDR 2, after its release it seems like everyone is coming out of woodwork to condemn the game as being bad. Gamers do this to every game. They hyped it to the extreme and then start bashing once it releases.

It's supposedly very bad. I only ever played one match of RDR too, I liked it but... yeah GTA and RDR aren't my go-to online series :P

There's always someone complaining about some misplaced pixel or whatnot. Always someone.

Hell...I bought it 3 times. On PS3, PS4 and then PC. lol
