I remember when I got my PSX it was December 15 1997. A birthday gift for my eight bitrhday one of the best days ever.

Almost all of the PS1's hits went on the PC (Final Fantasy VII, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, Twisted Metal 2, Metal Gear Solid, etc. etc.). Therefore, according to PS fanboys, the PS1 is no longer a good console.

I remember my first Playstation game Need for Speed 2, those were the days. I still have to put on NFS 2 to listen to the guy who talks about each car, it still gives me goosebumps. Happy birthday playstation, and thank you for bringing 3d graphics and some amazing games into our homes.

I had both a Playstation and N64 I got the Playstation in December of 1996 and I got an N64 December 17th, 1997 (Well my brother did) I perfered the N64 but the Playstation was still a good console it was just that only 1 person I knew owned a Playstation and they didn't live near me everyone else I knew owned an N64 so I played the N64 more I was at my friends house and we spent hours playing N64.

Wrong. If the "Games go to PC so it's no longer a good console" logic applies to the Xbox 360, it applies to the PS1.

That should be at the start of any playsation made....There should be an update with those exact sounds starting up the PS3. Sony should go back to its roots.

And this is the main reason the games once again in my backlog, I cant remember a thing from it except the beginning event and last boss battle :P
