My 360 broke twice before I got ti fixed and sold it. My ps3 has been running strong, but my hard drive corrupted and I have no idea why. I had weird problems where games wouldn't update or anything. I formatted my hd which took 3 hours and everything has worked great scine then. So my only problem with the ps3 has been the hard drive, but luckily I'm the only one who had this problem apparently after doing hours of research.

Sorry to hear and see that happen as it is very unfortunate. That's one of the reasons I trust Nintendo products. My PS1 gave me pure flaming underworld, so did my PS2, I've heard and Seen 2 PS3's stop working for seemingly no reason at all(And my friend called Sony when they got his system and they said they COULDN'T FIX IT and sent it back), everybody knows about Microsoft's issues since the first Xbox. The only Durable systems are the Nintendo ones, the Wii and the DS has been kicking strong since launch. I hope you can get it fixed.

Get over it they fix it for free, they even mail you the frigging box. My PS2 broke 3 times and I had to pay to have it fixed the 3rd, didn't see me on these boards whining.

Buy a PS3. My 360 broke 3 times for me. 2 of the 3 was three red lights and the other was broken disc drive which they wanted me to pay a hunder dollars for it.

If your gonna buy the PS3, get the 60 gb with 4 USB cause it plays ps2 games. it only cost like 320 dollars so yeah....

If you send it in. I hope a hurricane isn't hitting the repair center like it did when I sent in mine. I feel sorry for the people affected by Ivan last year and it stunk having to wait an extra few weeks to get mine back...

I've had mine 2 years without a hiccup!....fingers crossed....pro version
