Well they are working on another game for the PS3. Can't wait to see and play it. No they are working on a spiritual successor like ICO-SOTC. Also SOTC was a unique gaming experience that a lot of gamers would consider a timeless masterpeice. I thought it was brilliant and well deserved of it's praise.
SOTC was so unlike anything else. The ending was just haunting. So delicously complex and even a tad bit philosophical in nature. The gameplay was not needlessly complicated but wonderfully challenging. No stupid collectibles. No leveling up. No back tracking or boring side missions. Loved every minute of it. Its these kinds of games that keep me loyal to the Playstation brand.
great game overall, its what made me get a PS2. at the mo the PS3 doesent interest me that much but if these guys deliver another classic then ill be picking one up. team ico are sonys real talent imho. my only complaint about it would be that the controls feel a bit sluggish. agro seems a bit unresponsive, especially when getting him to run, and aiming with the bow is frustrating. but yes, overall a classic right up there with zelda imho.
IMO the game is absalsutly fantastic, however a lot of the fights seemed kind of ... stale, and truth to be told, the ending was VERY crappy (yes including the final boss fights) the art direction in the game is SUPERB, and the music left me in awe, although it did lack a few tracks, but all is good :)
I've beat 10 or 11 of the Collosi. I think its a good game, but I really don't see whats so amazing about it. I dont know, I think this is where reading reviews is bad. I heard so much awesome stuff for the game I probably had really high expectations. And then I hear bad things about a game and play it, alot of times I really like it, probably because I was expecting so much less.
