Supposedly the ps3 is the most poweful console with the cell and all and it was suppose to be the better one with more harddrive space and such, but i guess that didnt really matter since we have seen all the game videos for the 360 .
Yes, the 360 as of now is easier to polish a game on especially since rockstar has had more experiance with it than the ps3. They already made an entire game for the 360! And if you want to show off a game, it needs to be as polished as possible. I'm not too worried about the ps3 version...

What is wrong with that? There is nothing wrong with disc swapping, old school gamers can agree with me.
There's nothing wrong with disc swapping in linear JRPGs. There is something wrong if the disc is too small to fit an open world game like GTA4 on it..... and even if they do cram the game on the disc who knows what had to be cut to make space?
I really want to know what's going on during the developement of this game, I hope there's somekind of making of video in the special edition or hopefully the regular one, from all of the previews I hear, especially on the 1up Yours podcast, they say he city is massive and beautiful, with little to no loading, not even when entering building like past games.

Haha! He must not know about Suikoden or was it Xenogears or FF7, one of those huge-ass games.
Final Fantasy VII, VIII, and IX all had four discs, but I didn't give a crap they were awesome only having to switch a disc every 10 hours or so, not even hindering my amazing experience one bit.
Here'sa CRAZY IDEA!!! Maybe since almost every other Multiplat game has looked slightly better and performed better on the 360.... now I know this is difficult to understand.... maybe, just MAYBE, GTA IV looks and plays best on the 360..... ya know just a thought, call me crazy!

And I think Rockstar showing the game on the 360 isn't really shocking. The 360 is the ps2 of last gen. Expect most if not all multi-plat games to be shown on the 360, and many of those games delayed by months on the ps3....

MS is promoting it more...they have been dumping money on the game since day 1, of course they will show the 360 version..anyway, I think both versions will have problems that will result from handicaps from each system.

Maybe the reason Rockstar isn't showing it on PS3 is because it keeps blowing on the system.

also heres some logic for tc, since he seems to be lacking that today with this thread and the other ratchet one. 360 has the bigger install base, and higher attach rate, ps3 has a smaller install base and a lower attach rate. as a company investing millions upon millions into a game, what system would you show your game on ?

Why would sales even matter when showing off your game :| You show the best looing version, why would anyone show off their game in anything less than the best? :|
Besides, GTA4 running on the 360 isn't even common knowledge, go ask a casual and they probably wouldn't even know.
