Nintendo didn't announce any new games. We knew about it all already. On the other hand, they announced MotionPlus, an expansion to the Wiimote that perfects the Wii's motion capabilities.

Sony, on the other hand, announced an assload of games, pardon the language.

The pros of Nintendo announcing the MotionPlus are stunning. Not only does it make for new ways to play a game, but it basically kills any talk of the motion controls being a gimmick in one fell swoop. Gimmicky controls don't have that kind of precision. The con is, of course, there's no games.

Sony's pro is that there' smore games to play. There aren't really any cons.

Which is better? Advancement of technology, innovation on a large scale? Or more games to look forward to?

YOU MUST CHOOSE!

Motion Plus effects more games than Sony announced, and means cooler games in the future.

Littlebigplanet.
Also Nintendo has Zelda and a possible Kid Icarus game coming up.
But:
making your own game > Motion control

It's all short term gain vs long-term potential. I'm going to go with the long-term (Nintendo). The motion plus really blew me away.
