Yes, if by "Sony will consider a price cut" you mean "sony has openly acknowledged that no price cut is coming" then you are right.

Wow dude..... the PS3 is already as low as it could get. It already has Wifi in it, if you want that for the xbox it'll cost you another 100$. It's PSN is free.... and not mention that it has blueray and plays video games!!! How is 400$ not a good enough price already? Jeez freakin idoits, you fanboys needa stop hating on the PS3

Let me remind you, Sony denied a price but 2 days before it announced one. They will never go on record saying "Yeah, theres a price cut coming soon, so stop buying our consoles for the time being"

True, as with most proper business decisions, however this time they specifically stated that any price cuts will occur after the xmas season, as hardware costs fall.

I don't think Sony can afford a price cut just yet, they've already lost a ton on it with the most recent price cuts.

It doesn't need one right now. It's not desperate for sales, and it still needs to recover from costs. Don't worry tho, it'll come in due time.

Yeah but they said no price cut anymore for this YEAR. They can price cut when killzone 2 and infamous comes out which I am sure will help hardware sales.
