I've finally figured out the console Vs PC debate

An intelligent and truly creative person will see the PC and all of it's possibility's...i'm sure many of these people fall above an IQ of 100.

Now console gamers are just lazy, uncreative and lack in many "Mental" areas. They fall into the under 100 IQ pool. They see things as a hassle, while a PC gamer see's them as gold. Let's not even touch the surface of how much farther the PC will take you for your money than a typical console. It may cost more, but it has hundreds of more uses and a life span typically longer with minor hardware changes.

I think i like most am getting tired of the console vs PC argument. Neither side is wrong with liking there choice of system.

Sure, when fanboy's rant and talk rubbish from either side they should be shot down and corrected. Nothing wrong with liking console's over PC though, nothing wrong with liking PC over console. I love playing some wii games, i love sports games with friends on my PS3. I just love PC gaming more.

Iq doesn't equal creativity. Although it definetly helps b/c the larger your knowledge base the more likely you are to use that to come to new conclusions.

I am sure he is not lying. I know my I.Q. is over 100. Anything under is MR. With that said. I prefer console gaming over pc. But there are many of great pc games.

I have been creative in flash animation, making music, drawing, comics, game develoment / level design and 3D modelling. I am about to study in english and biology. So much for creativity and intelligence. I have extensive knowledge about PC hard- and software, and I was a PC-Gamer up until ca. 2000. Now, the other day I had to choose between The Orange Box (PC) and The Orange Box (X360). I chose the X360-Version, and I am immensly glad that I did so.

So anyone who has a pc is clever, anyone who has a console is not. Right...

Is your IQ above 100 TC, because that idea has to be the worst argument I have ever seen.

I am sure that there are many people who are smart and have a cosnole instead of a pc. I know loads of people who are smart and not so smart who have a pc. Same for consoles.

There are many reasons that factor into the choice between consoles and pc's. Just calling all console owners stupid does not solve anything. :roll:

I might game on my PC more often, but it isn't that powerful.

I get Great FPS in games like Team Fortress 2, WOW, and Oblivion but I can play games like COD4 without major upgrades mainly to my motherboard and processor. and if you replace those you pretty much replace the whole thing. Maybe when i save up at;east $500 i'll start buying parts to build a new PC.

I would say that PC gamers tend to have more knowledge on PC's than console gamers. Not necessarily mean that console gamers are stupid, they just don't have the commitment to Pc gaming.

Well I enjoy the huge amount of creative freedom and flexibility the PC platform, in contrast consoles dont have any in comparison.

One of the reasons I rather the platform.

And no TC is a perfect example that any PC gamer can be just as silly and ignorant as any console gamer. There is no 'difference'. There are idiots and smart people who prefer both platforms.

While hardcore PC gamers do have to put up with more complex and more frustrating crap than hardcore console gamers, you're essentialy saying that console gamers prefer consoles because they're idiots. :roll:

I'm sorry but that's dead wrong. As a hermit, I've met plenty of intellgent consolites and PC/console manticores on these forums. PC gaming does not automatically give you an extra brain, and console gaming does not remove any.

True, PC games generally require more thought and are tactically or strategically deeper, and that's why I prefer PC games. But it's not like all console games are stupid and shallow. There are plenty of games on both sides to satisfy thinker gamers.
