I never knew about Smash Bros., until I saw some special on TV a couple years ago about some gaming club that played in the tournaments. After doing some research I now realize that it's one of the heavyweights in the industry. That's all fine and dandy, but what I really want to know is how is the gameplay? I more into M rated games, but I'll give anything a try. I really enjoyed Power Stone on the Dreamcast, and this seems to be in that same vein. I honestly haven't had as much fun with any fighting game since Power Stone/Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast. Do you think Smash could renew my interest? :|

Well do you like Nintendo characters? The game will still be awesome for you if you don't, but if you do however have an interest in them then your enjoyment will skyrocket.

The game is great whether you like Nintendo characters or not, but some people detest those characters so much that they hate the game on that merit alone. If you're not like that, then you'll probably enjoy the game regardless of the fighting roster.

Yeah, if you're not a Nintendo fan, the game is just good. If you are a Nintendo fan, well... get some extra pairs of pants ready.

Smash Bros. is awesome.
It's like a big festivity that comes only once in a few years, doesn't fail to deliver.

It's fun of the highest level. A fighter of total chaos.
A game that blends in so many different art sty.les, characters, items, music, stage designs, sound effects and even graphics (from 34 bit to full 3D) in such a special way that you can't help it but to put a smile on your face.

If you never played it, I suggest trying to somehow play Melee on a GameCube or a Wii.
Brawl is going to contain more content then the original and Melee together though, and probally even more.
