ok, so in your opinion, what game/s(any gen) that you think is/could be/could still be a very good VG experience for other "unaware" gamers? Simply put, the "must-play" experience/s?

The game is really fun, it may be hard if you hate Pokemon, but the 2P battles are among the best.

i used to hate metriod games, i could never get into them...than i got this on the VC and probably played for about 6 straight hours...its def one of the greatest games ever made

funny, because my friends were all n64 owners and i had ps1 :P
i just got this off the psn a couple days ago and its still fun as hell, only problem i had was that it seemed a bit short against todays games, but you cant go wrong for $6

well fire red was actually a better game, but at the time red was just amazing...as for the ds verisions, i think i put around 200hours of gameplay into it, i barely turned me ds off for a month :P
do get it, it's just hard to put down

It can wait then :P Fire Red was the first Pokemon game I actually developed my Pokemon equally (not just one big ass powerful beast)
I totally agree with Super Mario World 2. Its totally different than the first one but I think its easily one of the best platformers ever made.

This game sold moderately well but it should have been huge. For me, its easily the best 360 game and possibly the best game this gen. I think if it had more decapitations, people would have gravitated to it more.

A bit obvious, but a fun game none the less. I think the modern gamer's head would explode if they played this game and discovered that non-shooters could be fun as well.

Can't agree more. If you don't like Metroid, or haven't played any Metroid before, this will make you like Metroid.

I think everyone should play these games (Yes, I like Role-Playing games)
My favorite game of all-time.
One of the best games on the Gamecube.
Considered by many to be the greatest game of all-time. Now that it's on the DS, there's no excuse not to play it.

Yeah, WOTL has to be hands down the best port job SE has ever done in recent years. And plus, it retails for $20 now so it's practically a steal.

I am like 26 hours into it and I have only done the first 8 story battles. My characters are all mid 30s and growing strong. I love, love level grinding, and FFT is one of the better games for it, IMO. It is also miles above the PSOne original in terms of cohesive story and the cutscenes are gorgeous. SE definitely won some love from me with this remake.
