Jack Thompson isn't worried about being sued by Take Two. In fact, he thanks God for the opportunity to "destroy" the company once and for all.

Wow, I sincerely hope that letter is a joke because Jack has clearly gone insane. Jack has constantly failed at succeeding in preventing "bad" music and games many times. He's so much on the fringe that he's nearly been disbarred several times. I don't see how this lawsuit is going to be any different than the other countless attempts by him to win. If anything, this is going to be the nail in the coffin for him.

I just hope he knows what he is doing. And if he does, i hope he lets us understand clearly very soon.
Cause i don't get it. Whether this is for real or not his behaviour is spoiling peoples lifes, and without explanation on how this is the right thing to do i don't want to pay any more attention to him.

Anything he says is meaningless. His track record concerning the company suggests that he would file suits against Take Two. I see that they have done nothing wrong.

This guy has a very unhealthy, unnatural hatred for Take-Two. Did Take-Two run over his dog or something?? Does he stand to make a huge pile of cash if Take-Two is destroyed, like some sort of corporate hitman? I wouldn't doubt Take-Two will use documents like this one against him in court.

EDIT: Jack's letter comes off as if Take-Two is trying to attack him, and yet all I see this lawsuit as is a pre-emptive move to protect themselves from any silly, waste-of-time court visits down the line.

Yeah but its all about context. Usually kids are learning the bible in an atmosphere where the violence can be properly explained. Kids learn violence from a GTA game most likely in an unadulterated form, with their friends laughing about all the chaos they are causing as they run over cops and blow up pedestrians. After all Jack's main issue is only supposed to be keeping violent games away from kids. Yet he seems completely fixated on only GTA and Take-Two, letting other violent games slip through the cracks.

I have been praying, literally, that Take-Two and its lawyers would do something so stupid, so arrogant, so dumb, even dumber than what they have to date done, that such a misstep would enable me to destroy Take-Two. With the filing of this SLAPP lawsuit last week, my prayers are finally answered. Jack Thompson

Why is he that desperate for attention?

Regardless, he's created so much hype/talk for GTAIV despite the fact that not even one screen has been shown.

I really don't think he has any clue what he's doing anymore. He probably just likes hearing his name in the media.

The fact is that politicians are hypocrites,they give a **** about moral and regilion they just use it as political platforms to archive their goals.They only want to archive a better position,maybe in the senate so someday their kids can get to the presidency.At the end everyone only care about their own goals. In this case Thompson choose a weird mix of Religion and videogames as his plataform,which is laughable but believe me that stupid politicians are people to fear.Im glad Thompson choose videogames,i dont want to imagine what it would happen if he had chosen more serious issues.
